DRIVER'S LICENCE REQUIREMENTS

For your car rental in Canada, every driver must present a driver's licence that is valid in his or her country of origin. All drivers must have had their licence for at least 12 months.

To rent a car in Canada, you have to be at least 21 years old, and you have to provide a credit card with the same name as the name on your driver's licence (for the deposit).

Finally, you will need an international driver's licence if your licence does not use the Latin alphabet.
