Every year, many travelers find themselves unable to find an RV for rent in Canada, because of a lack of availability. The RV is a very popular travel option, and unfortunately, the supply is not able to meet the demand.

If you want to rent a vehicle during the months of July and/or August, be sure to book early as this is high season. You should book at least 6 months ahead of time. You can even book up to nine months in advance. In addition, the earlier you book, the better the price. Rental prices increase every week, as availability decreases. So you can always take a chance on a last minute booking but be aware that there is a good chance that you will not find a vehicle and that, if you do manage to find one, you will end up paying more for it.

It is easier to find an RV for the months of May, June, September and October. But the fact remains that the earlier you book, the better the price. Most rental companies only ask for a deposit of 20% to confirm your booking.
