DAY 1 - MONTREAL AIRPORT (P.E. Trudeau)
Welcome to the world's second-largest French-speaking city after Paris. For your first night we have chosen a comfortable downtown hotel, the Roberval***, conveniently located at the heart of an urban fervour that is typically North American. You will receive your Authentik travel book, with all the details of your adventure including a road map indicating your route, as well as a personalised roadbook, a host of practical tourist information, a toll-free assistance number, vouchers, etc.

DAY 2 - MONTREAL
After breakfast, the day is yours to explore the metropolis. Like any other big city, Montreal has 1001 attractions to offer the visitor. But Montreal is unique, inventive, caught up in whirlwind of cultural creativity, both classical and avant-garde. The downtown center teems with life at the foot of the mountain, while the city's history is firmly rooted in the older areas by the river.
Explore its main points of interest by bicycle, or take a guided bus tour of the city. See Montreal from the top of the Olympic Park Observation Tower (the tallest leaning tower in the world), followed by a fascinating visit to the Biodome. Night at the Roberval***.
DAY 3 & 4 - MONTREAL / MONT-TREMBLANT PARK (144 Km/1 hr 46 mins)
After a last morning in Montreal, pick up your vehicle and set out toward the great North and your Nature Adventure. Your first stop will be the legendary Mont Tremblant National Park with its majestic landscapes. To get there, you can choose the more scenic country roads, stopping off at Omega Animal Park along the way to discover Canadian wildlife in its natural habitat - a real photo safari.

Mont Tremblant National Park is a vast universe of mountains looming over endless lakes and rivers, offering freedom and escape. A rich blend of Quebec's natural and historical heritage, Tremblant was the first National park to be created in Quebec, and is Quebec's largest park. The wide range of activities and discoveries are sure to please everybody. Explore the area by canoe, on foot, on horseback, or by mountain bike - you will be amazed at the sheer size of it! Whatever your interests, Mont-Tremblant National Park is sure to impress you.
After a full day of activities and fresh air, be swept away by the undeniable charm of the picturesque pedestrian village of Tremblant. In the evening, Tremblant is transformed into a legendary hive of night-time activity. The mood is festive, the smiles are contagious, and partying easily becomes a habit! DAY 5 & 6 - MONT-TREMBLANT PARK / MAURICIE PARK (296 Km/3 h 18 m)
Breakfast, then departure for Mauricie National Park.
Covering an area of 536 km 2 , the park gives off an air of serenity throughout its gently contoured terrain. On this vast plateau of rolling hills intersected by valleys and dotted with myriads of lakes, life moves in perfect unison with nature. Here only the changes of the seasons mark the passage of time, retouching the landscape with subtle strokes

DAY 7 - MAURICIE NATIONAL PARK / LAC ST-JEAN (279 Km)
How wonderful it is to be greeted by the splendour of nature when you look out of your window first thing in the morning! After spending the morning at Triton Outfitters, you set out for Lac St-Jean - a lake so vast, it is almost an inland sea.

DAY 8 & 9 - LAC ST-JEAN / SAGUENAY FJORD (171 Km)
Following a traditional hearty breakfast, you take leave of your warm Quebec hosts and head for the majestic Saguenay Fjord. The little-known landscapes of this grandiose fjord will create lasting memories. Here you will discover the immensity of time and space in a place where the colossal forces of nature are imprinted indelibly on the landscape.

You will be able to fully appreciate these picture-postcard perfect surroundings at Maison de Vébron, in l'Anse-St-Jean. Nestled between the mountains, l'Anse-Saint-Jean is the only natural harbour on the Saguenay coast. A real jewel, whose exceptional beauty is recognized by the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec Association.
Don't miss the hiking trails of Saguenay National Park, among the most beautiful in Québec with their breathtaking views of the great Canadian landscapes.
DAY 10 & 11 - SAGUENAY FJORD / TADOUSSAC (115 Km/1 hr 59 mins)
This morning, you set out for the region of Tadoussac along one of the most beautiful routes in Quebec.

Upon your arrival, experience the thrill of a whale-watching safari, either by Zodiac, by boat or by sea kayak. You will be accompanied by a naturalist guide, who will help you to identify various species including rorqual whales and whitecoats (baby seals). At the head of the Laurentian Channel, in the St-Lawrence River Estuary, where deep, cold Arctic waters rise to the surface, marine mammals abound and can be observed for eight months of the year, making the Tadoussac region a whale-watching site of international renown.
You will be staying at Le Pionnier in Tadoussac.
DAY 12 - TADOUSSAC / CHARLEVOIX (104 Km/1 hr 51 mins)
After breakfast you set out along a bucolic road that follows the majestic St-Lawrence River. It is said to be the part of Quebec where you are at once so close to the river and so high above it. Your destination: Charlevoix, a hospitable region with magnificent scenery that captivates painters, poets, writers, musicians and visitors alike.

Covering 6000 km² in the Canadian Shield, where the most ancient rocks on Earth are found, Charlevoix conceals unique attractions. The crystal waters of the Laurentians, that majestic chain of mountains, cascade into the salty flow of the Saint-Lawrence. Here and there, pretty little villages perch on the sides of mountains. All of these elements come together to create landscapes in which water and mountains figure side by side.
Photographers, nature lovers and those in search of adventure, don't miss your chance to hike the Acropole des Draveurs ("Acropolis of the log drivers") Trail in Hautes-Gorges National Park. The trail offers spectacular views of the summit with its arctic tundra and caribou. It is a challenging hike but well worth the effort. Bring along an picnic for an intimate lunch in these magnificent and unforgettable surroundings.
For the night, we propose a typical Charlevoix inn, La Bouclée, offering a splendid view of the river and Île aux Coudres. For dinner, the many restaurants in the village of Baie St-Paul offer varied menus and local-style cuisine.
DAY 13 & 14 - CHARLEVOIX / QUEBEC CITY (110 Km/1 hr 38 mins)
Today, you head for the birthplace of North America's French culture, the beautiful Quebec City.

Once in Quebec city, spend the rest of the day (and the next) exploring this old city with its many historic sites, recognized and protected by UNESCO. From Place Royale and Petit Champlain to Dufferin Terrace and Château Frontenac, follow winding alleys that will lead you to hidden places where you will have the impression that you are the first to discover them.
Your 2 nights in Quebec City will be spent at the luxurious Château Laurier*** hotel at the gates of Old Quebec.
DAY 15 - QUEBEC CITY/ MONTREAL AIRPORT (252 Km/1 hr 44 mins)
Last morning in the old Capital before leaving for Montreal. Drop off your vehicle at the Montreal Airport and board your return flight home.
And you leave the land of lakes and rivers, your heart full of lasting memories!!!
