Throughout the year the Pacific Ocean swell is present. There are calmer months during the summer but the ocean is generally active. Regardless of the time you visit Tofino, March through October, there is wildlife to observe. Whales, sea lions, sea otters, seals and bears all make their home near Tofino BC.
