DAY 1 - Montreal
Welcome to the second-largest French-speaking city in the world after Paris.
Like any great city, Montreal has 1001 attractions to offer visitors. Take the opportunity to experience the rhythm of its 5 main neighbourhoods: the Plateau Mont Royal, Old Montreal, Downtown, the Latin Quarter and Mont Royal Park.
You pick up your full set of camping gear, including a tent, sleeping bags, camping mats, ice chest, propane stove, pots and pans, firelighter, tarp and more.
Your adventure begins with Jacques-Cartier National Park.
Jacques-Cartier National Park offers magnificent landscapes characterized by stunning contrasts: mountainous plateaus fractured by steep-sided valleys.
The spectacular scenery of the Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier river valley includes a channel more than 550 metres deep through which the sparkling Jacques Cartier River winds its way.
DAY 3 - Jacques-Cartier Park
You have an entire day to enjoy this haven of peace!
For the more adventurous at heart, we highly recommend canoeing down the Jacques-Cartier River. Canoes can be rented at the park's visitors centre. Shuttle service is included.
Hiking enthusiasts won't want to miss hiking the Sentier des Loups. The trail is steep and quite challenging but well worth it, and offers the park's most spectacular views.
This morning you set a course for the spectacular Saguenay Fjord.
This majestic but little-known natural wonder will take your breath away and leave you with unforgettable memories.
You will discover the vastness of time and space in this place where the colossal forces of nature conspired to create a fjord.
DAY 5 - Saguenay Fjord
Spend the day immersing yourselves in the dramatic beauty of the Saguenay Fjord, unique in the world.
Hiking enthusiasts won't want to miss the chance to walk the Sentier de la Statue trail in the Baie-Éternité sector of Saguenay Fjord National Park. The view of the fjord from the statue is spectacular.
The region is also home to two of Quebec's most picturesque villages, l'Anse-St-Jean and Ste-Rose-du-Nord.
Today you take one of the most scenic routes in Quebec to reach the region of Tadoussac.
Tadoussac, the oldest village in Canada, is listed as one of the 50 most beautiful bays in the world.
Take the time to sample some typical local cuisine at Le Bateau restaurant, conveniently located in the heart of this historic village.
DAY 7 - Tadoussac
Tadoussac is one of the best internationally renowned whale-watching sites in the world.
So you can hardly leave the region without going on a whale-watching safari!
This exciting adventure includes the services of a naturalist guide who will help you identify several species including the razorback and the beluga.
Today you head for the beautiful Quebec City, the cradle of French culture in the Americas.
Perched on the cliffs of Cap Diamant and overlooking the St. Lawrence River, Quebec City is proud to be a living museum and the only fortified city in North America.
Take the time to explore the old capital and its many historic sites, including Place Royale, Petit Champlain, Dufferin Terrace and Château Frontenac.
Enjoy the last moments of your Quebec vacation before heading back to Montreal, where you return your camping equipment.
Then you make your way to the Montreal airport for your flight home.
It's time to say "au revoir" to the land of lakes and rivers, your hearts filled with beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!
