DAY 1 - Calgary

Welcome to Calgary, in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies.

Be sure to take in the most interesting tourist attractions of Canada's cowboy capital: enjoy a spectacular 360° view of the city from the top of the Calgary Tower, do some shopping on 8th Avenue,  visit Glenbow Museum to learn about the Aboriginal peoples and the colonization of the West, and take a stroll through the National Historical District of Stephen Avenue Walk.

DAY 2 - Calgary Banff ( 133 km / 01h34 )

You pick up your full set of camping gearincluding a tent, sleeping bags, camping mats, ice chest, propane stove, pots and pans, firelighter, tarp and more and then set a course for Banff and the Rocky Mountains.

At an elevation of 1380 metres, this small resort town is known for its superb alpine setting.

Banff is also a renowned national park whose glaciers and mountains make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

DAY 3 - Banff

Take a hike on Sulphur Mountain. The mountain trails will take you up through picture-postcard landscapes, and the summit provides a stunning view across the entire region. A gondola also goes up to the summit.

The area's most spectacular natural attractions include Johnston Canyon, the Bow River Valley and Lake Minnewanka.

Be sure to take a relaxing break at the Cave and Basin Hot Springs. After all, you are on holiday!

DAY 4 - Banff Revelstoke ( 289 km / 03h16 )

Your next destination, Revelstoke and Glacier National Park, is known as a real photographers' paradise.

Pay a visit to Mount Revelstoke National Park and take the road that winds up to the summit of Mount Revelstoke. The view is simply breathtaking!

Be sure to stop at Rogers Pass Discovery Centre, where you can admire the magnificent scenery and learn about the region's fascinating history.

DAY 5 - Revelstoke Wells Gray Provincial Park ( 310 km / 04h01 )

Today you head for Wells Gray Provincial Park.

Opportunities to see wildlife along the scenic Yellowhead Highway between Jasper and Mount Robson are  excellent, and are considerably higher during the two hours after sunrise.

Wells Gray Provincial Park is one of British Columbia's most spectacular wilderness parks, famous for its impressive waterfalls.

Must-see natural attractions include the magnificent Helmcken Falls, cascading in a straight drop of 141 metres into an immense canyon.

In July and August, hiking trails lead to incredible sub alpine meadows of wildflowers on the slopes of Trophy Mountain.

DAY 7 - Wells Gray Provincial Park Jasper ( 349 km / 03h47 )

Today your adventure leads to Jasper National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Along the way, stop for a break at the foot of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

Pay a visit to the charming village of Jasper, where elk wander the streets.

And don't miss the spectacular sunset from the top of Whistlers Mountain!

DAY 8 - Jasper

Visit the most beautiful attractions of Jasper National Park, including the picturesque Maligne Lake and Spirit Island, the most photographed island in the world.

Take a hike along the spectacular trails of Maligne Canyon and Mount Edith Cavell.

For families with children or visitors looking for a less strenuous activity, the Peyto Lake trail offers an easy 15-minute walk to spectacular vistas.

DAY 9 - Jasper Lake Louise ( 229 km / 02h58 )

This morning you take the Icefields Parkway, considered to be one of the most beautiful roads in the world.

Your destination is Lake Louise, "Jewel of the Canadian Rockies".

The spectacular scenery and icy blue green waters of this magnificent glacial lake will leave you speechless.

We recommend hiking to the Plain of Six Glaciers. This high mountain trail offers a series of glaciers, vaulting peaks and breathtaking high mountain vistas.

DAY 10 - Lake Louise Calgary ( 183 km / 01h56 )

Enjoy the last moments of your Canadian vacation before heading back to Calgary, where you return your camping equipment.
