Welcome to Vancouver, Canada's most beautiful metropolis, ranked as one of the best cities in the world in which to live.
We wish you a great vacation in the land of lakes and rivers!
And let your Canadian road trip adventure begin!
First you take a memorable ferry ride to Victoria, capital of British Columbia, on beautiful Vancouver Island.
The Wharf Street Visitor Centre's Art Deco walking tour offers a stunning architectural perspective of Victoria: an excellent way to begin your visit.
This morning you set out for Ucluelet and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, a treasure waiting to be discovered.
Along the way, you could stop in the village of Duncan. Also known as the ''City of Totems'', Duncan is a real Indian village, with more than 80 totem poles lining its streets.
Ucluelet is on the edge of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, where you will find the most beautiful beaches in Canada, bordered by lush temperate rainforest.
DAY 4 - Pacific Rim
Today will be dedicated to exploring Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
The Long Beach section, a long stretch of fine sandy beach pounded by the Pacific surf, is definitely a must-see. Discover this magical place with the help of several easy hiking trails.
You won't want to miss watching the sun set over the ocean from Radar Hill: the view is just incredible!
This morning you set out for Qualicum Beach. Along the away, be sure to stop at Cathedral Grove, a sacred place for the First Nations people and a magical place where you will find enormous 800 year old Douglas firs.
Qualicum Beach is a haven of peace with a magnificent view of the Straight of Georgia and the snowy peaks of the Coast Mountains.
Enjoy a walk along one of Qualicum Beach's many waterfront or beach trails and drink in the peace of your surroundings.
Today's destination is Port Hardy.
Along the way, make a stop in a little out-of-the-way paradise, Telegraph Cove, the best place in the world for orca (killer whale) watching ! This small village will charm you with its small old houses built on piles, lined up along long wooden boardwalk.
Port Hardy is a charming fishing village.
Next your route continues toward the Discovery Islands.
Today's destination is Quadra Island in the Discovery Islands archipelago. When you reach Quadra Island, the historical centre of Kwagiulth First Nations culture, prepare yourselves for an idyllic nature experience.
