The world is currently going through an unprecedented crisis with the COVID-19 pandemic. The year 2020 will certainly leave a mark on the collective memory of the entire world.

We understand with empathy the concern that this situation arouses in our travelers and that is why we wanted to inform you of the various actions that we are taking to deal with this crisis.

Authentik takes the situation very seriously and asks all of its employees to work from home to limit the spread of the virus and ensure their protection. Our Montreal office is therefore currently closed, but we are always available to assist you by phone or email.



In compliance with the recommendations of professional tourism bodies, we can offer:

1- The postponement of your trip in the form of a travel credit valid for 1 year, knowing that if additional costs apply for your new dates, the difference will be at your expense. Please note that special postponement terms and conditions apply if your booking includes the rental of a RV and / or plane tickets.

2- For cancellation requests, the general terms of sale will apply.

With no guarantee, 2 options could be forseen for the coverage of the cancellation costs:

2.1- You should first and foremost check with your insurance company and find out if you are covered for travel cancellation. Some insurers may reimburse you for these costs, in whole or in part, especially due to major circumstances such as the closing of borders due to COVID-19.

If you paid with your credit card, your contract may include this type of insurance and you could obtain compensation for these penalties.

2.2- If your insurer or credit card does not cover this type of trip cancellation, you may be entitled to reimbursement via the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents (CFCTA).

Authentik holds a Quebec travel agent license delivered by the Office de la Protection du Consommateurs (OPC). This organization manages a fund (CFCTA), which could reimburse the cancellation fees, if you meet their admissibility criteria. To request a compensation, you must complete the CFCTA claim form.



As you can imagine, we receive a large volume of calls. To avoid endless waits, we need to focus on priority requests for trips planned within the next 45 days. We will contact you more or less 60 days before your departure date to explore solutions and find the one best adapted to your situation.
