Calgary and Back - Vacation through the Rockies

The trip was excellent and the planning and organization that Authentik provided was excellent. The road trip book helped keep us on track and in the know at each stop. I have a few notes though on the trip guide

1) you know that you are required to purchase a park pass for the nights you stay in Banff. We didn't know this and where very confused when entering Banff. The number of nights and the cost could be noted in the day by day guide (I didn't' see it in there?)

2) Authentik guide suggested we stop in Vancouver (yes with our RV) and park at Vanier park. That's not recommend as when we did this we did get a $60 ticket for parking (taking up more than one parking space). So the road tip book should be updated to NOT recommend this. I would suggest you need to stay out of the city with the RV and park some place else.

The rest was just grand!

The daily amount of $9.80/per adult is not specified in the Road book, however it is written in the email we send along with the booking confirmation, and a link is included. Thank you for sharing the fact that you got a ticket for parking at Vanier Park. We will definitely change our "Tip" in the road book. This will help other travelers. We're glad the synonym used to describe your trip is "Grand"! Maybe next time, you can visit the East side of Canada.
