The sights and activities were great, the hotels hot and miss.

Overall we enjoyed the trip. Highlights were the Bonaventure island cruise and hiking, the Gaspésie National Park and whale watching. Hotels were a mix. 2 that stood out for quality were the Gîte Mt Albert and le Germain in Baie St. Paul. Domaine Valga was also a hit, despite the shared bathrooms. Some others we would prefer to forget: the first one on the st Lawrence river, the farm in Sacre Coeur. Not sure why we were placed there and had to drive 40km back to Escoumins for whale watching, when it would have been nicer to stay at a hotel in Tadoussac and do whale watching from there. All in all I would give the trip a solid B. Great sights balanced by ups and downs on the hotels.
