Lovely vacation, beautiful scenery, a few hiccups along the way.
Our experience with Authentik went rather well. Our travel agent did a really good job in finding us places to stay during our trip, despite the fact that we booked only a few weeks before leaving. She also went ahead and fit the trip to work with our circumstances of having a young child with us (limiting long travels per day, lots of outdoor activities, more stops along the way). It was a pretty good experience. The only issue I had with Authentik's service was that we were given the impression when we were given our quote, that it was a pre-booked event. Since we took about a week to look it over and make sure everything was good with our timings, we were informed that many of the options in our quote were no longer available, which caused us to miss out on some nice accommodations and activities. It would have been nice to have been pre-booked or at least informed that the choices suggested to us were not concrete until we booked.

We do pay great attention to the length of the trips, so we plan your itinerary to ensure that you don't spend all your time on the road, especially with a young child.
We totally understand that since you only booked for a few days, it was difficult to guarantee accommodations. It is for this reason that we always leave the following note in the quotes: accommodation subject to change depending on availability.
