This coastal black bear watching safari is a must for nature lovers and animal photography enthusiasts!
Local black bears spend the winter in a state of semi-hibernation. Come spring, they leave their dens and head for the closest food source: the ocean. At low tide, bears can be easily seen roaming the shore in search of rock crabs and clams.
During your safari, from the comfort of a zodiac, you will also have opportunities to view other wildlife such as seals, sea lions and bald eagles.
Even in the rain, this was marvellous. 4 bears seen!
Wiw
A perfect early morning start - and a very cooperative bear as well - memorable
(Translated by Google) Getting up at dawn is a bit difficult, but it's really worth it. Just the boat trip to get to the observation sites is magnificent. And when you get the chance to see the bears, it's magic (2 bears and a cub).
Pleasant walk
