21-day RV trip in Western Canada
(Translated by Google) A big THANK YOU, your Roadbook was very well done. We found ALL the information we needed inside. It was a wonderful travel document. Online, we have more information than I had written by hand, including the 3 favorite places along the way and those at the destination. You do a magnificent job with all the details; it's a precious tool for travel. Only one negative thing, which disappointed us and which we would not recommend, is the "Orca Spirit Adventures" tour. We were in a zodiac in the open sea with many waves, being tossed around for 1h30 (we were seasick) to see a few whales and not Orcas. Apart from this small excursion, everything, absolutely everything, was perfect. [...]
Road trip Calgary / Banff / Jasper / Whistler / Okanagan / Revelstoke
(Translated by Google) The landscapes were magnificent and very varied. The road was almost always suitable for RVs; we went from forest to mountain, from lakes to rivers, from cities to the countryside. An overall view of Western Canada!
However, a few small things need to be changed.
- Ask the client if they want a fire pit on the campsite. There's a $15 fee in Parks Canada for this, but I didn't use it.
- No generator in the RV and very few sites with services were booked... for a first RV experience, we didn't know the autonomy of electricity, water, and tanks. We used the lights very little and took showers in the restrooms for fear of running out. It's a shame because it hindered the RV experience we wanted to have. In the end, we had tamed the RV and were more aware of the resources.
I think campsites with services would be necessary. Our first 6 nights were without services...
- A small misunderstanding regarding the choice of a campsite in the middle of the stay. We were supposed to leave the main road between Jasper and Whistler to spend one night in Wells Gray Park. However, the campsite was 65km north of the highway, in an area without network coverage and with a non-serviced pitch, and the road was gravel for a large part. It would have taken us about 1.5 hours to get there, to sleep for only one night and retrace our steps the next morning to rejoin the highway and continue towards Whistler. We found it to be a waste of time and money (gasoline) and chose to stay at a campsite closer to the highway, at our own expense.
- I don't remember being told about the $50 preparation fee requested by Cruise Canada when picking up the RV. Given the price I had already paid for the trip, it would be good to know this to avoid being surprised.
- An explanation about RV insurance would be relevant during discussions with our agent so as not to arrive at the Cruise Canada counter without understanding anything!
So, these are the points that I think deserve to be improved.
Otherwise, I loved the paper roadbook. I used it a lot during the trip. And Véronique was generally responsive even if the exchanges sometimes lacked personalization depending on the client and seemed to maintain a pre-established standard (I had two little girls with me, very few services on the pitches and no campsite with a swimming pool. A bit of a shame for a family trip).

Good experience
(Translated by Google) Very good experience, impeccable accommodation management.
As for the RV, it's heavy and noisy, especially when you travel more than 3800 km (65 hours of driving) and the mosquito net door keeps banging...
But more than 200 km walked in magnificent spaces and beautiful encounters (black bear, elk, moose and deer, not to mention ospreys, fish hawks, and bald eagles...).

Nice course/Good run/Beautiful journey
(Translated by Google) Beautiful route with diverse itineraries: mountains, lakes, waterfalls.
Accommodation mostly close to sites of interest (except for the Okanagan Valley)
very nice trip
(Translated by Google) A well-organized beautiful trip that allowed us to discover western Canada.
Trip largely successful
(Translated by Google) We went on an RV trip for about two weeks in the Canadian Rockies. The organization of the trip was careful and was largely satisfactory. We can list the great hotel room and RV campsite reservations. The RV rental went very well too. Nothing to complain about the flights either. Authentik had planned a horseback ride in our program which was very nice.
Just two small hiccups, a canoe trip on the Bow River that was canceled without us being notified, which caused us to lose half a day. This activity looked very nice; if it hadn't been canceled, we would certainly have had a good time. The operator told us he had notified Authentik (we only have his word of course) but the information didn't get through. The other small hiccup was the reservation of a campsite at Lake Louise campground for two nights at the end of our stay. This campground is anything but pleasant because of the very noisy passing train nearby, the very narrow sites, and the unsatisfactory sanitary facilities. The shuttle that connected the campground to Lake Louise was also discontinued two months before our trip, hence difficulties in reaching Lake Louise (either a 5 km walk to get there from the campground, or the need to go there by RV before 6 am or after 7 pm). We gave up and preferred to go to Banff. Despite these two disappointments, we returned home with very good memories and wonderful photos of our trip! So, the trip was largely successful!

An exceptional trip.

Beautiful landscapes & places to visit, a wonderful experience to have
(Translated by Google) Our manager responded well to our personalized request, which was to have a few days with our daughter to go sightseeing! Overall, the campgrounds were nice but we were disappointed with Sibbald Lake campground, which was primitive camping with no services, located an hour from Canmore, including thirty minutes driving through the woods, partly on gravel! Lake Louise campground was also 16 km from the village of Lake Louise! We recognize that it was last minute, but we would have liked to be informed! I also find that there is a lack of transparency regarding costs because we had our own vehicle and only needed help with reservations. It’s normal to pay for this service, but we don’t know if we paid $500, $1000... In the Roadbook, there are some errors: for example, it shows a distance of 63 km between Cedar Falls Campground and Vignoble Eau Vive Okanagan when it’s actually 163 km. [...]
Magnificent landscapes
(Translated by Google) The road trip was generally well organized; however, some stops need to be improved and certain activities suggested in the road book could be further developed and updated (for example, reducing the number of restaurants in favor of additional activities as well as suggesting new stops along the route). This would help avoid long distances by incorporating intermediate breaks rather than spending two consecutive days without a change.
Information about booking ferries in advance was not clearly communicated to us nor sufficiently emphasized. It would be helpful if you handled these reservations directly. We only booked the day before the crossing to Victoria, which resulted in extra costs as well as inconveniences due to late waiting times during peak tourist season!!!
Some of the selected campgrounds are not located in a quiet environment (near airports, railways, aging campgrounds...), and their size is sometimes overwhelming. By traveling just a few more kilometers, it would be possible to select more peaceful campgrounds, closer to nature and more in line with our theme.
The hot spring campground is an excellent example to follow.
Overall, this year we did not find the added value or the level of quality that we had enjoyed during our previous trip with you (Quebec loop).
Furthermore, we did not have access to a television in the RV and were not informed about the possibilities of accessing wifi or shuttle services...
We especially appreciate Canada for its wealth of hiking opportunities and the many activities it offers, and despite these areas for improvement, we still had an excellent family vacation.

A very natural experience!
(Translated by Google) I highly recommend this road trip organized by Autentik Canada. The motorhome was very comfortable and very well equipped, and the pick-up service was very professional. I just wish a bear spray had been provided, with the option to pay only if you use it.
The itinerary was very comprehensive and the campsites were well equipped, spacious, and very well located. I might have skipped one stop to have a bit more time in the heart of the Rockies, but that's the only criticism I have. Apart from that, the landscapes we were able to see were beautiful and sometimes even exceptional!
Finally, I would like to thank Tanya, who took great care of our file—she was very friendly and very responsive to each of my questions and requests.
Thank you, Autentik Canada, for this wonderful journey through Western Canada!

Have a good trip, it's a long way.
(Translated by Google) Very nice discovery, but about 4000km in 3 weeks in an RV.
Unfortunately, an activity that wasn't suitable for our son's age, who was terribly scared. No solution or compensation was found. (Our son is 6 years old, a teenager of about 14 was at least as scared as him and had to stop the activity as well)
An authentic partner
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful road trip in the heart of the Canadian Rockies nature.
Truck camper perfectly matching our expectations with very present assistance and follow-up.
We would have appreciated a more complete service with water and electricity in Banff, which would have allowed us to be on a more isolated site. No shower available in the camp due to renovations! This is a real shame.
We highly recommend the small national parks, Kootenay, Yoho, and the very pretty Wells Gray Provincial Park for their tranquility and the beauty of the landscapes and nature. The Jasper fires led us to go down to Okanagan Lake with its absolutely magical colors.
We highly recommend Autenthik Canada's advice. It is just a shame that they do not offer campground reservations in the small parks, but we booked ourselves quite easily.

Super great experience with Authentik - Canadian West August 2024
(Translated by Google)
Canadian Rockies and West
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful experience and very well organized trip.
We loved this beautiful trip in western Canada.
(Translated by Google) Thank you for organizing this incredible adventure. We loved the various campgrounds we were able to stay in. We only have 2 small negative points:
-the handover of the RV keys, the agency was not up to par and did not take the time to clearly explain how the RV worked. A regret that we reported directly to the agency.
-on the last day, we went back up to Coquihalla, making us drive 1.5 hours to the campground, passing within 1km of the RV return location the next day. We think this step could have been avoided, even if it meant returning the RV a day early and finishing our stay in a Vancouver hotel.

Excellent experience
(Translated by Google) We used Authentik Canada to organize our road trip in August 2024 and everything went very well. Despite a very tight timeframe (we contacted Authentik Canada 2 weeks before departure), our contact Véronique Blanchette was responsive and efficient in securing the reservations for the campervan and campsites. Furthermore, she had to deal with program changes due to the events in Jasper and she managed this last-minute unforeseen event quickly.
This trip in Western Canada was excellent, we were able to see magnificent landscapes and take beautiful walks. We also got close to the local wildlife, to the delight of the children. Certainly we covered a lot of kilometers, but even the journeys are an activity in themselves as the landscapes are so magnificent.
This will remain a wonderful memory.

Unforgettable Family Trip to the Canadian Great West!
(Translated by Google) Left Calgary to reach Vancouver, passing by the must-see stops through the Rocky Mountains until Vancouver Island... almost 3000 km in an RV and as many incredible landscapes. Western Canada is truly a region rich in diversity and "postcard" scenery.
A trip we awaited with impatience, and which leaves us with an unforgettable memory. Canada is truly an immense country, where each stop dazzles with its panorama, the lakes are countless each with their own personality... Special mention for Lake Moraine's pure natural beauty.
The alternation between half-days of road trips, days of walks, hikes, restaurants, discoveries, and activities was ideal. Even if the pace was still sustained over these 3 weeks, we were so awestruck every day that we didn't even feel tired. Not to mention the many animal species we encountered up close and in their natural environment: black bears, wapitis, deer, bald eagles, prairie dogs, squirrels by the dozen... The children keep rewatching the videos over and over ;)
A big THANK YOU to Veronique for her listening, support, and availability throughout the preparation of our trip. Everything went smoothly, the reserved spots in the campgrounds were great, we were able to fully enjoy our trip without worrying about anything on site!
An excellent experience with Authentik Canada!

Nice trip but some disappointments
(Translated by Google) Western Canada undeniably offers breathtaking landscapes. No regrets about the destination. The accommodations are generally decent, but we often found ourselves in noisy environments (chalet by the roadside, room above a pedestrian street in Banff...). The proposed activities were very good, with an exceptional mention for the bear safari at Pacific Rim. Nevertheless, I think the planning was largely improvable, and some choices are questionable (choice of certain stages, duration). Furthermore, it is regrettable that Authentik Canada does not handle the ferry reservations in Vancouver, given that nothing is mentioned on this subject in the roadbook. [...]
Pleasant trip, decent service but expensive
(Translated by Google) If making a next trip reduce the distances otherwise plan for a significant fuel budget because the vehicles' engines are large. Everywhere there are mosquitoes that make the trip unpleasant.
Canadian Rockies
(Translated by Google) We are totally satisfied with this trip. Everything worked without any problem. Motorhome, campsite...
Canada is a beautiful country, Canadians are very welcoming and always ready to help. What can we say about the magnificent landscapes?
/>
Recommendation: We did not take the precaution of checking the formalities for returning to Canada. Therefore, we did not have our eTA processed in time and so we could not take the plane on the scheduled day and had to buy a new flight for the next day and find a hotel in Geneva and Calgary since we arrived outside the time slot to pick up the motorhome. A lot of stress and a significant additional sum.
Therefore, it would be necessary for this eTA information to be mentioned in the road book and even reiterated in email exchanges.

Family trip in the Rockies
(Translated by Google) We had a very pleasant family trip through the Rockies. Magnificent scenery and hikes for all levels. The RV was certainly very long (30 feet) but that wasn't a problem. We had a heating problem when we were in Banff, but someone intervened and the problem was solved within the day. The campsites selected by our contact person were very good.
Western Canadian getaway
(Translated by Google) The most beautiful trip of our life as a family!
tremendous
(Translated by Google) I thank Carolin Dion for the advice and follow-up of all the journeys we did together. a very attentive girl, patient, good advisor etc... thank you very much
One of our most beautiful trips
(Translated by Google) We liked the experience of traveling in an RV and the itinerary was very good too, we had no problem with the reservations everything was perfect.
As for the negative points, I'm still looking.
vacation with friends
Superb hassle-free trip with Authentik Canada
(Translated by Google) We had a memorable western Canadian trip (Alberta and BC) for 3 weeks with an RV from Fraserway. No worries with Parks Canada camping reservations and the online queue, they take care of making your reservations. Completely satisfied and I will eventually make another trip with them. Thank you so much.
A second remarkable experience!
(Translated by Google) In 2019, we hired Authentik for an amazing 20-day family RV trip in the western United States.
This year, we added a level of complexity by asking them to organize an experience of similar duration in Western Canada, but with our 3-year-old dog and with children who have become teenagers. The planning was once again flawless and hassle-free, leaving us to make the most of this family vacation.

back to paradise
(Translated by Google) Second time we go on a road trip in the parks of western Canada with Authentik. Once again a flawless course that allows us to enjoy 1000% of our stay. Émilie (Road trip specialist in Canada) was very available. She offered us a route adapted to our desires and provided us with all the information necessary for our trip. We already recommend Authentik and we will continue to do so with pleasure.
Goodbye !
