Gaspesie road trip
A BEAUTIFUL ROAD TRIP IN GASPESIE
(Translated by Google) Our trip led us to visit Gaspésie. We are very happy with our trip, we have seen very beautiful things and the accommodation is good. We enjoyed the VALGA outfitter (despite the mosquitoes).
Everything was well organized and no problems.
Quebecers are charming people.
thank you for a nice trip
Grandiose
(Translated by Google) The choice of hotels, the proposed circuit allowed us to see beautiful landscapes, to enjoy the national parks.
The Auberge de la Pointe à Rivière du Loup with a view of the river is a must.
Only downside as it is not yet the summer period we did not have access to all the activities that we wanted to undertake.
Very good stay, well organized
(Translated by Google) A well-balanced course in the Gaspesie, which allowed us to take full advantage of the superb landscapes around the St. Laurent. A small regret however, at the end of May, many sites, attractions are not yet open. A word of advice, do not take the ferry to Matane, in fact it almost always breaks down! In summary, a very nice stay, which it is better to plan from mid-June, to be sure that everything is open. [...]
Superb trip to Gaspésie
(Translated by Google) Magnificent landscapes, wide open spaces, very welcoming Quebecers. What happiness!
wonderful journey
(Translated by Google) This trip was well prepared by the Authentik Canada agency, which contributed to the success of this discovery of Canada. The site is well done and the information easy to find. Our advisor answered each of our questions and quickly took the necessary additional steps. All the advice given allowed us to make a success of this trip in this country of large dimensions, colorful, inhabited by welcoming and friendly people always ready to help.
Everything was perfect for us. The roadbook served as a tourist guide with the very useful road map. the wealth of information contained in this book allowed us to visit all the must-see places

Roadtrip “The Great Seduction” in Gaspésie
(Translated by Google) First encounter for us with Gaspésie, and we were lucky, under the sun!
For our family who loves sport and loves flavors, colors, adventures and encounters, here is our “Top 10 of the best Summer 2021 memories” with Authentik Canada:
1/ Stroll on the beach, in the dunes and the very charming colorful village of Tadoussac, and see beluga heads and whale tails from the shore – Also our 7-10 year old daughters loved the outdoor swimming pool and the indoor games at Hôtel Tadoussac. And I really liked the salads and desserts of Café Bohème recommended in the Roadbook Authentik Canada.
2/ Have an aperitif on the terrace of the Maison du Pêcheur with a magnificent sunset over the famous Percé Rock, and eat the best lobsters and oysters in the region – Reservation made for 6 p.m. by Authentik Canada and highly recommended in the month of August - then fall asleep peacefully at the Riôtel Percé.
3/ Go down the magnificent Bonaventure River by canoe in the morning with a picnic stop along the river, and swim in the extraordinarily clear and warm water in the afternoon, to end in style at the Café Acadien with a beautiful walk or skate to the Riôtel Bonaventure.
4/ Reconnect with nature and…adventure at Pourvoirie Valga – One of our big favorites to end our trip with the authentic Canadian spirit!
5/ Take Route 132 between Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and Cap-des-Rosiers, and stop to admire the beautiful lighthouses and have a picnic there. www.routedesphares.qc.ca
6/ Savor the best ice cream and chocolates in Quebec at Couleur Chocolat, Artisan Chocolatier in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and discover new local beers in microbreweries like La Fabrique on the way down from the ferry in Matane - (yes, we are Belgian with some cute sins ????).
7/ Take a walk in the poetic Jardin de Métis, even in the rain!
8/ Enjoy a delicious breakfast with a good espresso - very rare - and a very nice view from the terrace of the Auberge la Seigneurie des Monts, before hitting the road again.
9/ Enjoy a magnificent sunset on the terrace of the Auberge de La Pointe in Rivière-du-Loup (+ indoor pool for girls).
10/ Return serenely with your head full of memories, via the Picturesque Route of Navigators, and write Authentik Canada postcards to family and friends.
One of our big favourites, Pourvoirie Valga in St-Gabriel-De-Rimouski!
A real little corner of paradise with the authentic Canadian spirit as we like it. Pourvoirie Valga combines nature, adventure (Arbre-en-Arbre course for all levels), sport (kayac, canoe, paddle board), discovery (trout fishing, Bertrand beaver observation), and…authentic encounters with owner-builders of the inn and the adventure course, Chantal, Eric and their daughter Catherine! Finally we did not escape the delicious pancakes with the famous homemade maple syrup ???? After sport and adventure, a good table with local flavors awaited us, as well as a spacious and warm family room. We will come back in winter to test the Valga Extreme Adventure!
What we liked least:
- Bad luck, bad weather for our “Hike Caribou” in the Gaspésie National Park, and missed meeting with the caribou? Also, the shuttle system to access the Mont Jacques-Cartier trail is quite complicated and inflexible. Parked in the parking lot of the Center de services et decouverte, there was only one return shuttle at 4 p.m., while there were several shuttles to the Camping du Mont Jacques-Cartier. Maybe it would be better to park at the campsite?
- Sometimes the distances between stages are long in the car, especially for children. Lots of time in the car/shuttle between Parc de La Gaspésie and Auberge la Seigneurie des Monts. I think the Gîte du Mont Albert would have been a better choice for our family (accommodation + meals). Also, for families with children 7-10 years old, I highly recommend staying a minimum of 2 nights in accommodation.
- Difficulty finding good restaurants for dinner, especially in Baie-Comeau and St-Anne-des-Monts. Several restaurants were closed, full and/or did not accept visitors who did not have accommodation with them (such as the Gîte du Mont Albert). Suggestion to book accommodations AND restaurants before departure in high season, and perhaps with the help of Authentik Canada?
In terms of the Authentik Canada service, the site helps a lot in planning the circuit, accommodation and activities. Also, our Travel Advisor Marie-Michèle recommended the Pourvoirie Valga to us, which included all meals, and it was great! Finally, the personalized Roadbook received at home with recommendations "What to do?" Where to eat ? » made our life a lot easier, and the postcards kept the girls busy on the way home (good exercise in writing and spelling before the start of the school year).
Gaspésie is wild, gourmet and truly seductive; it is felt, savored and encountered, especially with children. Take the time to fully enjoy and let yourself be seduced by this region! If we could start the trip again, we wouldn't change much. Automatically book restaurants in advance, and perhaps sleep in a lighthouse, and/or visit a local cheese dairy… We hope that these few lines will inspire/help you for your next trip to Gaspésie. Very good trip to you and again a big THANK YOU to Authentik Canada for the magical memories!

Excellent service and choice of hotels, as well as the itinerary.
(Translated by Google) Authentic offers excellent service and listens to your wishes. A great team!
A nice travel carrier
(Translated by Google) Overall very happy with this trip and its organization. Only 2 stages were not completely satisfactory: The Matane wildlife reserve is reserved for people who really want to be isolated and ONLY want to walk. Percé: the Riotel was fantastic: very disappointed to have only been able to stay one night (the next room was empty...)
Unforgettable experience, rich in wonderful human contacts and exceptional scenery
(Translated by Google) Discovering Quebec and the Gaspé in two weeks, which went wonderfully well, thanks in large part to Authentik Canada. All their organization means that we just have to savor the present moment and make the most of the holidays.
To say that Quebec is magnificent and that Quebecers are welcoming and warm is not a legend, it's reality!
15-day course between sea, mountains, city, lakes, rivers, waterfalls...everything is superb...but I prefer large wooded areas and waterfalls
[...]
very nice program in Gaspésie and along the Saint Laurent
(Translated by Google) very good quality accommodation except the first hotel in Montreal; lots to do and see even on a gloomy day. Highlights: Percé and the gannet cruise, the whale cruise in Tadoussac, the visit to Gaspésie National Park, the Musée de la civilization in Québec. Late September and early October are a good time to admire the fall colors of the wilderness.
Special thanks to the counselor who helped me over the phone with the car trunk lock issue. A bad point for THRIFTY who did not give us a direct line

Exceptional experience
(Translated by Google) We appreciated the quality of the lodges and inns that we visited. They fully met our expectations. Simple. Well located and warm welcome. The program was dense and allowed us at each stage to make us discover places away from too touristy areas. A real discovery
A discovery!
(Translated by Google) The trip offered by Authentik was a real pleasure. The hotels were very good and despite a ferry problem the agency was able to help us find a solution.
Thanks to Cassandra for a great experience.
Magical
(Translated by Google) Very good (but too short) stay in Quebec. It will have fully met our expectations, in particular thanks to the advice and availability of Mr. Parent who listened to our requests throughout the preparation of our self-guided tour.
a personalized à la carte stay that met our expectations
(Translated by Google) Great time near the whales that made us feel very small
The south of the Gaspé Peninsula and the stopover at the Miguasha Fossil Park were less appealing to us and the welcome at the Wanta Qo Ti cottage was less playful than the comments on your site and that of Trip Advisor, did not catch up with anything
For the service, nothing to complain about from the rental of the car, to the different types of accommodation, everything went on without a hitch
We were able to allow ourselves cross roads and stages by feeling or by following the recommendations of our hosts
As we knew, we haven't seen everything, but the desire to do other things, including in winter, is gradually maturing.
See you soon for new advice and a special thank you to Alexandre Parent who, after listening to us, helped us plan this road trip and take us to the end of the world.

Great trip
(Translated by Google) This trip allowed us to admire the palette of colors of the fall landscapes of Quebec (La Grande Séduction trip).
We appreciated the different stages, the accommodations and the excursions offered.
The SUV vehicle (or SUV in Quebec) is a plus to be able to travel on country roads or roads.
Very nice trip
Very well !
(Translated by Google) No flaws in the organization.
Efficient organization of the botage
(Translated by Google) Smart route
Excellent choice of accommodation: full satisfaction, especially for the gite in the shelter of the steeple (New) Maison Gagne (Tadoussac) Pourvoirie Valga. ( Rimouski) and Domaine du Pic bois ( Charlevoix) quality of reception and breakfasts .
/>
Exceptional and very well organized seal whale bear activities.
Very high quality and precision of the preparation through the provision of the road book and the attentive and cordial listening of the adviser
We enjoyed everything about this trip: without exception

Pleasant stay
(Translated by Google) My stay from September 9 to 23, 2019 in Gaspésie went smoothly.
Perfect organization
(Translated by Google) Balanced circuit and information at the stages very useful and precise. Notice practically similar to the information described in the guide du routard
Prior information and reminder for recordings, in particular flights (perfect).
Perfect discount renter, balanced and fast airport shuttle.
A score of 20-20 on the whale watching trip with the Escoumins company. We were lucky enough to see a humpback whale jumping festival.

wonderful stay and a perfect organization
(Translated by Google) beautiful and varied landscapes; many and varied activities: visits to large cities, villages, cruises, hikes, quad biking, etc. ; hospitality and friendliness of the hosts and the population; variety of accommodations, very well located for visits to Montreal and Quebec. In short, a change of scenery guaranteed!
professionalism
(Translated by Google) a second trip to Gaspésie with Autentik Canada. essential stops: the Valga domain (+++ in terms of guests), and Percé (Riotel hotel at the top, and of course Bonaventure Island and its gannets)
In Quebec City, go visit the Wendat (Huron) reserve: it's really interesting.
Discovery of the gaspesie, magnificent.
(Translated by Google) In order to be able to discover the gaspesie, we went through authentik voyage. We are enthusiastic about our stay. The accommodation was of good quality. Our high quality road book. We recommend this agency.
A trip that makes you (again) want to come back!
(Translated by Google) 3rd trip to Quebec for us. This time, discovery of the majestic Gaspésie. Even if we come from a coastal region (Atlantic coast, near Bordeaux), we loved discovering these coasts, these landscapes, etc...
Our favorites: Miguasha Park, Rocher Percé, Bonaventure Island, Gaspésie Park, Montmorency Falls (and a via ferrata there!!)
Experience to live!
a turnkey trip
(Translated by Google) I'm not a fan of tour packages so I appreciated being able to bring some variation to the Authentik Canada planning.
It is this flexibility that seduced me with an already very complete circuit as support: accommodation, remarkable site, discovery activity, advice.
No time of departure or arrival, no obligation for restaurants and the freedom to change route if the heart tells us.
Of course we stop when we want, where we want and for as long as we want, it makes all the difference with a classic organized trip!
I appreciated the choice of accommodation at each destination and the quality of the activities offered.
After for the landscapes, the people on site and the wildlife... everything is true!
A special thank you to Alexandre for the quality of these advices.

Excellent trip, two small flats
(Translated by Google) Hello,
A big thank you to Alexandre for the very professional organization of this beautiful trip to Quebec.
2 points to note.
- Ferry to Matane. Attention, the departure time in summer is 7.30 am and not 8.00 am as noted in the program. Luckily, we had consulted the timetables the evening before, which enabled us not to miss the boat.
- Stage Percé-Rivière Au Renard including the tour on Bonaventure Island and sunset canoe trip. The time allotted to do everything was too short in one day. As a result, we had to give up the canoe trip (which we were unfortunately charged for).
In the end, we clearly preferred the coast of Gaspésie on the St Laurent to the coast of Baie des Chaleurs. As a result, we regret not having had a little more time in Percé and Parc du Forillon.
Thanks again!!!!

Wonderful discovery of Quebec
(Translated by Google) We spent 16 days traveling through Quebec and the national parks as a family. We experimented with different types of accommodation (hotel, outfitter, lodge, prospector's tent, etc.) with pleasure. The landscapes were magnificent and the people of Quebec are very welcoming. The whole family loved this vacation.
Perfect !!
(Translated by Google) Accommodations all different and all of quality, with the little extra of personalized contact at Authentik just in case!! Thanks
suggested improvement, like everyone else I don't read the details of the contract, modifying a hotel cost me 100 dollars in fees, remember to remind the client
Beautiful landscapes and wonderful people!
(Translated by Google) Quebec is a beautiful country, but the best of Quebec are the people of Quebec!
The organization was simply perfect, there were no booking incidents (thank you Marie-Pascale for your professionalism and your availability).
The itinerary and the roadbook are super well designed
Note anyway: a faulty GPS which made us waste a lot of time!
