The West by RV
great locations, great RV, amazing experience overall
just got back from an amazing trip. the locations were amazing, and we loved most camgrounds. we didn't regret a single attraction or activity we took, everything was great fun. a good desicion to stay a few more nights in every location and not move so quickly. a few of the drives were a bit difficult and in restrospect maybe we would devide it differently - specifically between wells gray and pacific rim.
during the booking and planning process we've had a few missunderstadings and Alyssa and authentik did their best to solve them in a professional manner and to find good solutions. fraserway were helpful and we loved out RV. Once in a lifetime experience. Thanks!

Fabulous trip but RV's were disappointingly substandard.
Susyane put together a great itinerary for our RV road trip through the Rockies. The day trips to lakes and the campsites she booked us on were excellent. Unfortunately, the RV's fro Cruise Canada were dated, worn and had lots of problems. The Cruise Canada office were very unhelpful and not once did they offer us any apologies of viable solutions during or after the trip.
Amazing experience
Great trip, wonderful experience. Canadream were really helpful and always on hand and very quick with any enquiries we had. They were very accommodating to our requests. The itinerary itself was OK, but we wish we had insisted on going to Jasper as we were advised not to go due to the fires of 2024, this meant that we had a a couple of "wasted" days in locations that we wouldn't have chosen to go to. We also feel disappointed that we weren't consulted as to our requirements with sites/ services at each park and found ourselves without hook up in some sites. We also booked the trip with our friends but were not given sites next to each other most the time which spoilt the experience for us. All in all, a great trip, a beautiful country but wish there had been more diligence in the detail. [...]
Road trip
Communication was good from beginning, trip was booked approximately 3 months before departure , some campsites where 15km from towns, one campsite Las des Arcs was not as described no amenities as per booking , we had a wonderful trip.
RV Road Trip of a Lifetime
This RV Road trip from Calgary to Vancouver was a surprise holiday for my wife's 60th birthday. From the very beginning, my Road Trip specialist, Alyssa Sayegh, was absolutely fantastic at putting together my ideas and subsequently bringing them to life. Alyssa's support and swift responses to my queries were exceptional and gave me piece of mind that this was going to be the trip of a lifetime and I can honestly say that it truly was!
Our adventure was easy to complete within our timeframe, due to Alyssa's meticulous planning and we were completely blown away with how brilliant the sights were!
We fell in love with Canada and particularly how friendly and helpful people were. My advice (and that of my very surprised wife) is to embrace Canada because you will definitely not regret it. The services of Authentik and in particular Alyssa, took away all of the hardwork of planning and allowed us both to enjoy a carefree holiday.

The mountains and shores of Canada!
Good choices in the itinerary. And good job finding good alternatives to Jasper for us. That was so unfortunate for those people.
Our friends also enjoyed it. We were situated close together.
We loved the mountains and shores of Canada (and the people).

Calgary to Vancouver by RV
The whole booking process was seamless and there was excellent communication before our trip. The online Roadbook was very informative and a great manual to have at hand. We were really pleased with our RV, and Fraserway were marvellous both at pick up and return. We were pleased with all campsites chosen for us but particularly pleased with the choice of hotel in Vancouver as the location was ideal. Thanks to Fanny and Tanya for making a special 60th Birthday holiday into a trip we will never forget. Fran and Jen [...]
Superb organisation of our Canada Roadtrip
Fanny was brilliant during our initial enquiry stages - coordinating calls with myself in the UK, juggling the time difference with Canada. Excellent knowledge of what we would need for our trip in terms of locations, and she was not wrong about how quickly campgrounds would book up. We had aspirations of travelling and stopping somewhere we liked each day - so glad we took Fanny’s advice to pre book. We were even more so grateful after the sad Jasper fires meant the area was evacuated - Marie then effortlessly booked us into alternative campgrounds and rerouted us. The RV chosen was superb for our families - we came in 42 kms under the included mileage! I saw everyone stressing about getting the shuttles organised for Lake Louise/Moraine - but no stress for us - this was all booked for us effortlessly! Thank you - a brilliant service [...]
RV road trip through the Rockies
Our trip exceeded our expectations. Fanny Gagnon was our trip advisor and I cannot fault her. Our trip was well- organised and Fanny was always available for any queries and requests.
The only aspect of our trip which caused issues was the flight booking, which we booked via the link. Air canada changed our flights on a number of occasions, which was very stressful. However, Option Way were also very amenable and helpful where possible.
When booking through Authentik, there is some flexibility. We spent the final week of our trip on Vancouver Island in order to visit relatives and decided to book our own RV sites in order to be close to them. Anything Fanny booked ran perfectly - the hotels, the RV pick up and drop off, campsites and the activities.
This was the holiday of a lifetime - breath-taking landscapes, fun activities!! You have to book the West by RV to realise what a fantastic trip it is.

The West by RV
Our decision to go to Canada was a bit last minute, so we were grateful to Suzyane and Authentik that they could book an RV and our camping for us. We were pleased with our RV and our itinerary, and especially enjoyed the time we spent between Banff and Jasper. The campsites were mostly very good. We particularly enjoyed the sites at Tunnel Mountain, Jasper and Clearwater. If we had had time to do our own planning, we may have missed out Revelstoke and Bow River. We couldn't take the RV up to the Meadows in the Sky at Revelstoke, and there was no other way to get to the trail there, so we moved on. Bow River was noisy and the facilities were poor. We didn't use our third night at Tunnel Mountain to avoid driving south from Lake Louise, only to drive north again the next day. Instead, we camped at Lake Louise's overflow site. If available, Lake Louise would have been a better camping option for our itinerary, but as we booked late this may not have been available. Suzyane was a helpful organiser. It might have been helpful to have been able to receive replies from another specialist when Suzyane was unavailable. All in all we were very pleased with the help we received from Authentik in planning our trip. [...]
Trip of a lifetime
Our 3 week vacation in Canada was absolutely amazing! The views, the people, the whole experience was great.
As we were traveling with a 4yr and a 1yr old, we used Authentik Canada to book the majority of our trip and save us a lot of time with research and online bookings. We booked our RV as well as most campsites through Authentik. Being able to choose your route and select the campgrounds yourself still makes it feel as if you organized the trip yourself. And the vouchers worked flawlessly once we were travelling. All campgrounds, except one (in Hope), were great. The services provided were exactly as described, the campgrounds were clean, safe and in great places.
We mostly communicated via email with Fanny, she was knowledgeable and supportive. The roadbook is very comprehensive and has a lot of good tips.
There are a few small things that could be improved.
First off, the distances/times listed on the website are different (shorter) than what you get once you have actually booked. With small kids, this makes quite the difference.
Also, if a campground is not available when Authentik tries to book it, you are booked to another campground without receiving any upfront information about the change. Of course, it is listed in the itinerary and roadbook but in our case, the campground was in a totally different city than we had anticipated and this really changed our plan.
Be aware that even if a campground is listed to be, for example in wells grey nationalpark, it often is actually outside of it and it takes up to an hour to drive there. We googled all our campgrounds before making the booking with Authentik so we were aware of this but it can be quite misleading.
All in all though, the service and support from Authentik is unmatched and I wish it was available for trips in Europe as well!

Great roadtrip from Calgary to Vancouver through all parks
RV trip thru Rockies
Loved the trip, but here are some constructive criticism:
The hotels, both in Calgary and Vancouver (Accent) could have been better. Poor location and poor service for both. That was disappointing.
The one in Calgary (Best Western Suite Downtown) did not offer shuttle to the airport.
Hotels with shuttle services should be a priority at booking time, for specially for this kind of trip.
As for the trip itself, I thing the pacing would be much better if more time would be spend in Jasper and Banff, less time in other location.
At least 4 days at both Jasper and Banff are required to really enjoy the parks.
Thanks

Motorhome trip by retired Aussies
Authentik Canada arranged the motorhome segment of our Canadian adventure and we could not have been happier with their service and arrangements.
A highlight of the trip was our visit to Lake Moraine and this would not have been possible without the forward planning of Fanny our road trip specialist.
Highly recommend Authentik if your intending to make a Canadian road trip.
Very helpful and friendly!
We booked a 2 week roadtrip across Canada including an RV hire. Our road tripe specialist, Daphne, was extremely helpful and always answered any questions we had. She even rescheduled some of our bookings when forest fires were occurring in Jasper. Would highly recommend using authentik!
Stunning country absolutely loved it
Me and my family had the most wonderful time visiting the West Coast of Canada from the UK. Our route was Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, Wells Grey, Whistler, Vancouver Island and Vancouver - it really is impossible to name a favourite. The service from Authentik Canada was first rate and I highly recommend them.
Great experience
Perfect trip with a very good organization from A to Z...
RV trip west Canada
We where very happy to go on our RV adventure after two years of delay due to the pandemic. unfortunately, many benefits that were planned initially during 2020 were not given , as promised , in 2022. other than that, all campgrounds and hotels were adequately reserved. things to note, reserving a shuttle to Luise lake is a must , and should be mentioned , another thing , Goldstream campground is very basic though with very nice location, and lastly , Best western sands hotel in Vancuver is basic and not very recommended. in the bottom line this was a very enjoyable adventure and i will definitely recommend it! Thomas’s Adventure
Having never done an RV tour before, was a bit apprehensive about it all coming together. I can’t thank Authentik Canada enough, especially Daphné who adjusted our route to cope with some travel arrangements that had to be changed. As for the route it was fantastic we got to see all the different landscapes, that Canada has to offer which was unbelievable. The campsites were very clean and tidy. I would not have any hesitation to recommend Authentik Canada to friends and family and would definitely use again. The communication through out our booking was great and any problems, that arose were dealt with quickly and professionally, even with the time difference with England. We can’t thank Authentik Canada for us to make so many great memories. [...]

Great company
RV From Calgary to Vancouver
Great new RV with Bike rack fitted. Better than camping as we had 3 days of rain on our trip and it was a pleasure to be dry and warm. Having the bikes with us was useful for exploring the areas and shopping. Authentik Canada where exceptional in their service and the transition from an old to new travel agent was flawless. Authentik Canada was also good to advise us of an Ironman event in Whistler during our stay and what roads to avoid. I cannot comment on Authentik Canada's crises management because everything went so smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We also compared Authentik Canada prices vs us booking direct with campsites and RV's, and the price difference was minimal. So we decided to use Authentik Canada to handle our complete bookings.
We can diffidently recommend them. Just remember to call and confirm with your airport transfers if you have any bike with you.

My family road trip in Western Canada
(Translated by Google) Very nice first experience of a family RV road trip. The planning of the stages was very well managed. A special mention to Susyane K. who was always available and able to answer all my questions and requests quickly and efficiently. The rental company Fraserway is very well organized, and the agents were all welcoming and helpful. I recommend having the paper version of the Roadbook. It is a very useful tool on a daily basis.
My favorite places: Banff, Moraine Lake (more than Lake Louise), Whistler (although very touristy) and Vancouver (the Davie Village, which allows you to walk to English Bay beach, then to Stanley Park)
Negative point: the journey between Wells Gray Park and Whistler (5h20 minimum drive including a good part in the mountains. Quite tiring)
Warning for French speakers: in Western Canada there are very few people who speak French.

The West in a motorhome, a real added value!
(Translated by Google) Very good relationship with Authentik, easy discussions, interesting suggestions allowing for efficient organization. We enjoyed discovering part of the country in a camper van, it was easy to stop, eat, and enjoy without depending on others. The sites are very well marked and organized, there are many kilometers to cover but with beautiful roads, and many activities—not always cheap, but always worth it. We wish we could have stayed longer.
We liked the local food less; it's not easy to find something for the kids to eat, except for fries and burgers, which are available very often. Some campsites truly lack privacy but are located in major tourist areas.

An unforgettable trip!
(Translated by Google) Thanks to Susyane, our travel advisor. Thanks to her suggestions and her very sound advice, we had the most beautiful family trip of our lives. We return with heads full of memorable souvenirs and indescribable landscapes.

All in all, a beautiful trip.
(Translated by Google) Western Canada is magnificent. Only a few logistical errors displeased me, like a reservation for Lake Louise at 4 p.m. (which is the last departure) followed by a reservation in Jasper more than 3 hours away. This forced us to rush for Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. No stops possible along the way, arriving at 10:30 p.m. The Columbia Icefield being a must-see for us, we had to make a 230 km round trip. At least it allowed us to observe the mountains in both directions. The excursion to Maligne Lake was beautiful. The waterfalls in Wells Gray Park are breathtaking. I recommend rafting on the Clearwater River, memorable. For Vancouver Island, book one or two days in advance, otherwise it's 3-4 hours before boarding. The city of Victoria and the campground were really great. Vancouver is a really beautiful city with a lot of people. We weren't upset to leave the RV with all that traffic. The Stanley Park bike tour is a must.

Road trip in a motorhome between Calgary and Vancouver
(Translated by Google) Perfect trip in my opinion, in the right direction. Indeed, in Banff, rainy and cool mountain weather. The further we went, the better the weather was. The Icefields Parkway wasn't on our itinerary, YOU MUST DO IT, just for the scenery. All the activities are necessary to keep a family busy, including the glacier visit. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are must-dos. In Revelstoke and Wells Gray, we canoed, a bit short for us but good. Whistler, zipline and seaplane, IMPRESSIVE. The whales on Victoria Island, GREAT. The Vancouver bike tour, excellent. The campsites were great and clean. The people were kind, caring and considerate.
