Place of birth: Alençon, France

Introduction: Originally from Normandy in France, I always had the desire to travel after my studies. It was in Canada where I decided to embark on the adventure for 1 year. The trip of my life. So much so that when I returned to France I was disoriented. My story there wasn't finished. A year later, I set my bags down in a small village on the edge of the Saguenay Fjord. I spent 8 wonderful years where nature, road trips, and the great outdoors set the rhythm of my life. In 2017, I wanted to write a new chapter and decided to move to the bustling, yet ever so pleasant city of Montreal.

What is my favorite destination in Canada?  Originally from Normandy in France, I always had the desire to travel after my studies.

A tip for your trip here  The distances! Please, think about the distances. I have seen tourists do Montreal - Saguenay - Gaspé and Niagara Falls in 10 days. Can you imagine doing Paris - Bordeaux - Barcelona - Marseille in such a short amount of time? As a result, they were exhausted and frustrated at not having the time to enjoy each stop fully. However, since you're not going to escape a bit of driving, prepare a good playlist. Nothing like it to give you chills when you hear your favorite songs once the trip is over.

What is my favorite season in Canada?  Autumn! In addition to the incredible palette of colors this season offers, the temperatures are very pleasant and often the sun is shining.

What souvenir to bring back from your trip here?  Ice cider, it's really delicious. Otherwise, I'm going to be classic, but bring back some maple syrup.

Don't forget to pack in your luggage:  I would rather tell you what you can leave at home: The small daily worries and phrases like: "At home, it's like this, or like that..." Bring your open-mindedness, a bit of curiosity, and your humor, that will be perfect!

What is my dream trip?  I have done several road trips in Canada and the United States. Now that I have a little girl, I dream of doing it all over again and showing her the spectacular landscapes as well as that inexplicable feeling of freedom that comes with being on the road. The most incredible thing is all the animals that can be encountered in their natural habitats. It leaves me awestruck every time.
