Gaspesie road trip
an exceptional stay in Gaspésie and top-notch organization
A trip to the top organized with small onions!
(Translated by Google) We loved both our trip to Quebec and the organization of it by Marie Eve from Authentik Canada. A few weeks before our departure on vacation, in the middle of August, Marie Eve organized the trip that corresponded to our desires, our budget "with small onions"! With patience and always with a smile, she modified our circuit several times so that it really suited us.
Once there, everything went perfectly, the road book was perfect, and the organization with the various partners was problem-free. Marie Eve's advice regarding our circuit was also perfect, since we really enjoyed our whole trip.
So a big thank you for all of that!

Very nice trip
(Translated by Google) We had a very nice trip. We have many beautiful memories in our heads!
Some stops seemed too short for visits. I would recommend fewer steps and a minimum of 2 nights on site!
Very good trip
(Translated by Google) Hello Joannie,
As promised, our feedback:
Hotels:
- Auberge Amerik: Very good and very very friendly welcome
- Sommets Charlevoix: Excellent comfort
- Birdhouse Pointe aux Outardes: Funny for a night
- Chalets Parc de la Gaspésie: Very good
- Auberge la Petite Ecole: very clean but major soundproofing problems. We hear everything and we quickly wait for the last one to be in bed...
- Hotel Le Mirage in Percé: Very good, spacious rooms and superb view. Excellent breakfast!
- Auberge des Caps: quite old-fashioned, needs a facelift. Quite depressing when arriving. But in the end, you feel good there (isolated, beautiful view of the bay with the rooms behind - rooms facing the road are to be avoided). Any breakfast. But very friendly innkeeper
- Auberge sur Mer: magnificent view of the St Laurent and the sunset. Excellent breakfast and nice decoration at the reception. On the other hand, the rooms in the establishment on the first floor would need to be repaired (damaged ceilings) and are certainly not soundproof. We live with the neighbor!
Car :
Very well. We had a Dodge Challenger (I didn't know what it was, there aren't any in France). On the other hand, on the way back, I pointed out to the Thrifty agency that it was only a 2 door and 5 for sightseeing (we go up, we stop, we go down, we go back up...) this n really isn't practical. But very nice car.
We liked :
- Quebec, again and again.
- Whales (we saw a humpback whale!)
- Sea kayaking with the seal tribe a few meters away and the sunset on the way back
- The Parc de la Gaspésie (worth 2 full days minimum)
- The sunset over the St Laurent
- The hike on Bonnaventure Island (we did the complete tour)
- The kayak descent on the Bonnaventure river (despite the very low water level problems, we were more occupied avoiding the pebbles than watching and enjoying the landscape - too bad)
- The sunset over the St Laurent
We didn't like:
- the lost day round trip between the Sommets de Charlevoix and Tadoussac for the whale watching outing. Lots of road and fatigue when we could have gone to the Charlevoix Natural Park that we didn't see in the end and whale watching the next day.
- Quebec on the 1st day. We didn't take advantage of it: fatigue, jet lag. It deserved to do it at the end of the course with 2 days.
I hope this all fuels your expertise.
Thanks again Joannie
Fabrice LAMY

Unforgettable
(Translated by Google) The road trip is a style of travel, you have to be ready to ride! We are delighted to have done it but we were too greedy and in the end a little too many kilometers...
Stay met our expectations
A perfect trip!
(Translated by Google) I warmly thank Alexandre who helped me prepare exactly the trip I dreamed of.
A success from start to finish, which literally charmed young and old (2 adults and 4 children 5, 10, 13 and 15 years old).
Everything is extremely well thought out, easy, you just have to let yourself be guided, while living a very personalized experience: the accommodations (a special affection for the Valga estate and the chalet in the Gaspésie park), the travel times, the very valuable road book, advice on visits planned in advance or recommended on site...
Quebecers are incredibly kind and all the landscapes are worthy of the most beautiful film sets.
Whales (incredible but true, and better than we expected), moose, beaver, bears were there, a few mosquitoes and very few people!
The essentials (if we really had to make choices because everything excited us): the whales of course, the Gaspésie park, canoeing down the Bonaventure River, a hike on Bonaventure Island, the visit guided tour of Quebec, the visit to the sugar shack...
A trip that made us dream long before, during, and I'm sure for many years to come.
THANK YOU for this wonderful family adventure!

Enchanting journey...
(Translated by Google) The activity proposals that have been made to us have lived up to our expectations.
We had requested several special adaptations on our tour in order to visit friends.
Adaptations that were heard so that we were able to shape our trip to our liking.
Trip that went like clockwork, all you had to do was follow the roadbook.
Roadbook which is a very nice tool, reliable and which will remain in memory next to the album of our vacation photos.
Many thanks to our advisor, Marie-Michèle Ouellet.
A family of enchanted little Swiss!

Meet exceptional wildlife
(Translated by Google) We wanted to experience wide open spaces: the view of the Appalachians from the top of Mount J Cartier dazzled us.
We wanted to meet bears, caribou, whales, boobies, penguins, guillemots, beavers, a couple of marmots...we got everything...except moose. Unforgettable spaces and views and gites of rare quality to make your eyes sparkle :)

Fantastic stay!
(Translated by Google) Wishing to tour Gaspésie in 3 weeks, we already had a relatively precise idea of our trip before contacting Authentik Canada. The choice to go through this agency allowed us to obtain very good advice (well done for the blog and the guides to download!!!), ideas for visits and activities while relieving us of the worries of logistics. Emilie Boivin was very responsive to our wishes and the "great seduction" program that served as a support was adapted to our taste (by adding the Saguenay Fjord from Tadoussac in particular). We greatly appreciated this trip which well deserves that we devote 3 weeks to it (3000 km traveled without counting the trip to NEW YORK). It was just bliss!!! Small remark concerning the Avis agency which tried to charge us as an option for a small removable GPS without asking our opinion when the car was equipped with a high-end GPS as standard... [...]
Greatly impressed!!
(Translated by Google) A very good trip overall. We are happy to have been able to easily make changes to the basic itinerary.
On the particularly touristy stages, we were unable to obtain our first choice of accommodation (hostel or BB) due to lack of space. We would have liked to be able to have a second accommodation offer of this type before having to go to a hotel/motel.
We had a 9 year old child with us, the pace was sometimes intense for him.

Overall satisfied but some superfluous steps
(Translated by Google) We return delighted from our 2 weeks of discovery of Quebec.
In the very positive points:
1) we are very satisfied with the service provided by Andréa, who was able to take into account the modifications we wanted to make to the standard tour to personalize our tour
2) the accommodation was generally of good quality
3) the excellent Roadbook provided by Authentik
4) the pre-programmed GPS with the addresses of all our stages
In improvements:
1) we considered certain stages of the La Grande Séduction tour superfluous and would have preferred to discover Lac St Jean instead. Some of our comments may correspond to constraints imposed on Authentik given our late booking.
- the stage at Notre-Dame-Du-Portage has no interest except to cut what would be a long journey on the 1st day - but very nice hostel (Auberge sur Mer)
- the night in Petite-Riviere-St-Francois has no interest. We could have gone directly to Quebec. Even if it means taking a stopover, you should do it in Baie-St-Paul which is a very pretty town rather than in Petite-Riviere-St-Francois which has no attractions and which is too far from Baie-St-Paul to go out for dinner.
2) to visit Parc Forillon, it would be more practical and pleasant to spend the night in Gaspé rather than in Riviere-Au-Renard. The Motel L'Auberge Le Caribou was basic compared to the standard of accommodation chosen.
4) for the whale safari we had to return 40km back from Tadoussac where our accommodation was, which wasted time when there are safaris departing from Tadoussac
5) the use of paper vouchers - proof of payment from service providers (hotel, ferry, etc.) - seems a bit obsolete these days - it would suffice, for example, to present passports

Thank you Marie-Pascal!
(Translated by Google) We were with children aged 3 and 7. Marie Pascale advised us to stay 2 nights per stage. What we did and it allowed us to be serene throughout the road trip, to take the time to chat with the Canadians. Quiet and rewarding holidays!
Caribou!
(Translated by Google) This is our first time traveling with Authentik Canada. What professionalism, well done! This is the first time that our trip had been also well organised. Everything is well thought out, no bad surprises, we only had time to enjoy it. Many thanks to; all.
We had a real favorite during our stay: the Valga outfitter!
Very nice trip. We appreciated the landscapes and the welcome of the Quebecers in the lodgings

QUEBEC SEEN FROM THE RIVER ST LAURENT
(Translated by Google) Wild QUEBEC (with many parks) you have to love nature to appreciate this trip: large expanses of forest (with wonderful colors in this period (2nd half of September) and the Coverage of the peoples and customs of the first inhabitants of this peninsula.
Unforgettable trip. We will go back there, with your agency.
(Translated by Google) Too bad the ferry schedules (Sept. 30) did not allow us to visit Matane, the Jardins de Métis...
Unforgettable stay
(Translated by Google) we liked parks and places like Valga (unusual), Percé, Tadoussac as well as old Quebec.
Very nice route
(Translated by Google) Ideal for those who love wide open spaces and nature. The steps are well chosen. The agency's GPS with pre-recorded addresses makes travel very easy.
a beautiful trip, in a beautiful area!
(Translated by Google) A piece of advice, take the time to go around quietly.
The Gaspé Peninsula itself is worth a trip to Quebec.
Excellent discovery of Gaspé;sie
(Translated by Google) Circuit to to do its rhythm, appreciating each place for the diversity; and beauty of his landscapes.
3rd trip with authentic, 3 times satisfied!
(Translated by Google) What a pleasure to discover and rediscover Canada each time. This stay in gaspesie was still to be done. the height of my expectations and those of my children... Thank you to agrave; Josée for his presence throughout the stay.
Unforgettable trip
(Translated by Google) What a wonderful trip! from the preparation with Laurence who took into account all my requests until the realization, everything has been perfect. The gites were very good. We met friendly and helpful people: the very soul of Canada. Experience at renew.
Very successful organization and warm welcome from Quebecers
(Translated by Google) We preferred the cottages and the Valga outfitter at the hotels
The welcome is warmer and easy to exchange with our guests and other holidaymakers.
We left for 14 days. It may be necessary to shorten the route to be able to enjoy at least 2 nights of certain accommodations or extend the stay by a week as far as possible.
The trip of our dreams: the Great Seduction
(Translated by Google) The circuit is superb and well thought out; decorated splendid landscape, road along the St Laurent, path in the middle of the forest
We did many of the activities offered: observation of beavers, bears, whales...
À do absolutely more: Bonaventure Island in front of Percé
Canoeing on the Bonaventure River
Discover microbreweries ((warm welcome)
The mine of feasts at Mont Lyall: we leave with our harvest of beautiful stones! ( a little expensive)
buy lobsters (cheap) at the grocery store in Percé who will cook them for you: for a picnic the next day!
In terms of accommodation: the best: WantaQoTi hostel, the MontAlbert guesthouse, the Nature and Brushes guesthouse
À forget: Motel La croisière and offer another Hotel than Fleur de Lys

Magnificent Gaspé;sie
(Translated by Google) This road trip in Gaspésie was very well; organized and planned by our adviser Virginie, we saw grandiose landscapes, but also meetings in the various lodges and outfitters with very welcoming and endearing people, who advised us on certain magnificent places in their regions...
Despite the many kilometers traveled, we returned with lots of memories and images in mind, especially the 2 exceptional whale jumps just in front of our zodiac thanks to Escoumins Cruises.
Thank you Authentik Canada for this second Road Trip...

(Translated by Google) Very good circuit. Magnificent landscapes. Good memories.
Very positive points from Authentik Canada: the Road Book and the preloading of stages with GPS.
Stéphanie is extraordinarily competent and gave us really good advice.
