As I had read, the Banff campground, tunnel mountains, is really very well located and the shuttle that goes to the village is super convenient ($2) but the campground itself is a kind of parking lot and it doesn't seem there are park wardens doing the rounds in the evening and at night, I would have slept better without the revelers nearby! We quickly realized that it was better to sleep with the windows closed! On the other hand, the sanitary blocks, impeccable and free and this in the 4 campsites visited. Otherwise, a magnificent getaway, breathtaking landscapes and beautiful nature to discover. Lake Louise is fabulous for its beauty but much less so for the experience, it's ridiculous how many people there are. And a tip, take the Park Canada shuttle which costs approx. $8 per person and which takes you to both lakes, and reserve in advance at least the day before. A piece of advice, we found it VERY practical to go to the Parks information center as soon as you arrive, you will find very useful information and suggestions there.
