Vancouver Island
British Columbia Road Trip (including Vancouver Island)
In April we had a two week 'fly drive' holiday starting in Vancouver. What a fantastic holiday! Vancouver is in a beautiful location and feels very relaxed compared to the hustle and bustle of a lot of cities. There are lots of cyclists and the car drivers are very considerate. The highlights were the parks, beaches and great restaurants, particularly if you like Asian food.
From Vancouver, we drove to Whistler. A very scenic drive along the Sea-to-Sky Highway with great sea views. We had two days skiing at Whistler and the snow conditions were very good and the slopes very quiet. A good time to go even though it was quite late in the season.
From Whistler, a drive and ferry to Qualicum Beach. We stayed at the Tigh-Na-Mara Resort which was very comfortable and had a very nice restaurant. A beach walk is not to be missed with excellent views to the mainland. Next stop, Torfino. A very picturesque village with beautiful scenery and a stunning sunset. Had an excellent meal at the Schooner Restaurant, the best of the whole trip. Also, went on a trip to see the costal bears. A bit of an early start, but well worth it.
After Tofino, a few days in Victoria and a whale watching trip. The sea was a bit rough which made for a very exciting boat trip and the guide was very knowledgeable, not only about the Grey Whale we saw, but all the wildlife. Victoria is a very pretty city, especially in April with blossom on the cherry trees. Another highlight of Victoria was a free guided tour of the Parliament Building. The guide did an excellent job of explaining the Legislative Assembly and the history of British Columbia.
From Victoria, we headed back to Vancouver and home. Overall, great scenery, great wildlife, great food and an easy and relaxed place to visit.

Vancouver Island road trip
Authentik Canada taylored the trip to fit our requurements perfectly, and could not have been more helpful. The choice of activities booked by them, including kayaking on the Pacific rim and whale watching at Telegraph Cove, were brilliant highlights.

Vancouver Island - Ocean and land
(Translated by Google) Although Vancouver Island is covered with magnificent forests, including its famous rainforests with majestic trees, it was the proximity to the Pacific Ocean and its extraordinary marine wildlife that charmed us the most. You will be amazed!

(Translated by Google) Loved our trip with our 8 and 6-year-old children. Don't hesitate to add nights in certain places as the suggested itinerary only stops for one night in some locations.
We do not recommend the accommodation at April Point Resort. Very strong smell of dampness in the room and common areas.

Wonderful trip to the West
(Translated by Google) Everything was perfect from the preparation by Fanny, the itinerary, the accommodations with their enchanting and strategic location. For Lucie & me it was our first experience with AUTHENTIK and we were super satisfied. A pleasure to recommend you and to redo another Road trip.

Live British Columbia
(Translated by Google) A magnificent region to visit, nature in its purest form. For all lovers of wide open spaces and animals.
A very well balanced circuit, inevitable excursions to do the seaplane flight and the whales and killer whales. Be careful about the choice of hotels when you are 4 adults in the same room.
moderately satisfied
(Translated by Google) the first theme that I address is the selection of hotels that you offer. You should take the time to inspect hotels. The choice of Royal Scot Hotel and suite in Victoria is not at all to offer. The hotel is shabby, old and not very welcoming. Disgusting locker room and pool. The room / studio that we had simply deserves a 0. The kitchenette not clean and bugs in a drawer of utensils. Old room, no air conditioning, tired, etc.
The second hotel we got was by wonderful luck. Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet. A high quality condo, clean with all the amenities. an extra extra service!
Next we went to the Whistler Village Inn and Suites. Again this hotel is shabby and old. We even asked for a change of room/studio because ours had a lingering musty smell. Dirty carpet floor and a studio too small for 4 people. Luckily they relocated us to a bigger place, but the studio wasn't cleaner, hair lying all over the place, even in the fridge. I even turned over a towel with hair in it.
So you can see that we are not very satisfied with the hotels. These dissatisfactions undermined our stay and wasted time.
I don't know what you will do with these comments, but they deserve attention for your future customers.
Thanks

Very good organization
(Translated by Google) We only had one problem during our stay and it was answered right away. The places offered were all very good. Only one hotel was a tad below the others in terms of quality but was still quite correct for the price.
island of beauties
(Translated by Google) 14 day trip to Vancouver Island.
The organization was perfect. The attention to detail that is found even in the programming of all destinations in the GPS! Never seen !
The only time I needed assistance following a credit card problem, you helped me out in 10 minutes: top class!
In short, a professional, efficient agency that you can rely on if needed.
A big thanks !

Unforgettable Vancouver Island road trip
(Translated by Google) Trip prepared with the help of Marie-Pascale and which turned out to be unforgettable: landscapes, discoveries, welcoming Canadians, all without bad surprises!
The road book provided by Authentik Canada is very useful because even the car's GPS didn't always know how to show us the way.
To consume without moderation !
Well organized trip
(Translated by Google) Two objectives for the trip: the city of Vancouver to which you have to devote 3-4 days and the rest for the landscapes and wide open spaces. For the second objective you have to do either the island of Vancouver or the mainland for a trip of 2-3 weeks. Change of scenery guaranteed for a European.
Fantastic landscapes and a very well organized tour In Western Canada
(Translated by Google) We spent two fabulous weeks thanks to Tiffany from autentik Canada who advised us on the excursions to do as well as on the itinerary and the hotels and .. the restaurants! We could never have done this on our own
THANK YOU

Grand and Luxurious Journey
(Translated by Google) The trip we just did with the help of Authentik Canada was fabulous. Twenty well balanced days.
The city of Vancouver is well worth a minimum of four days.
The hotels were perfect both in terms of location and the quality of the rooms (superb views). The hotel services (reception, availability, etc.) lived up to our expectations.
Just a detention on the hotel in Parksville (Tign na Mara). Very poor services, too bad because the site is to be discovered. Great mention for the Vancouver Pan Pacific.
The Black Rock spring is awesome.
The Sonara Ressort is more than exceptional, it was magical. (The site, the activities, the staff, etc.) The dream was real.
