An amazing adventure with the kids
Truly brilliant trip. Authentik were very slick and everything went to plan. RV hire from cruise Canada was easy and RV worked well. The Rockies were great, felt like a real adventure and the kids loved it (ages 4 and 6). Cannot recommend enough.
Great itinerary, support and reliability but unexpected costs
Overall a great experience and we felt safe and supported during our once-in-a-lifetime trip.
We had to estimate the expected mileage at the start in order to pay a significant sum to the motorhome rental company on arrival, and even with their help we managed to underestimate it, so had to pay a little extra at the end too, at a higher rate. Our package had included only 500km for a road trip of over 3000. We feel that at least a clear overall mileage should have been emphasised by the company up front, and ideally sorted out. Furthermore we’d been unprepared to arrange and purchase two long ferry crossings that were required to complete our circuit; as these were in August they were almost all fully booked out by the time we got there, but it was ok and the crossings (with the campervan) were amazingly beautiful and we even saw a whale. So if such details aren’t clear in your road book, do ask! The overall cost of the miles and the ferries was over £1000.
When I went back over the small print, I noticed on the email to which my invoice had been attached several months before the trip, in small print at the end, was a reference to the fact that ferries weren’t booked, but at the time I’d assumed these would be optional things and possibly just foot ferries as I wasn’t familiar with western Canada (hence the trip). Marie had, however emphasised the importance of checking all details of the road book carefully before we left. Perhaps more clear referencing in the road book would have helped, especially a prompt as to when to organise the crossings, which would have prevented our hair raising drive through Vancouver to get to the other terminal.
Marie had included in our booking some fantastic highlights which really made the trip great - this included the powerboat afternoon from Victoria in order to spend an afternoon near the feeding grounds of the hump backed whales. A little more discussion beforehand about the logistics of getting there (jetty in the city centre) from the campsite which was 24 km away would have reduced my stress levels as were were unfamiliar with local public transport, and our tickets were for a precise time (we just went very early). Similarly with Lake Louise, although it all worked out perfectly, the pace was quite swift in order to get there in time for our booking and then to enjoy the site.
There was a couple of times I emailed the company during our trip, and they were immediately responsive and supportive, as they had been throughout the booking process.
I returned from the holiday relaxed and fulfilled - it’s easy to focus on the stressful bits; most importantly, the planning and many reservations were 100% accurate and reliable. We didn’t have a single problem with any of the many bookings of planes, campsites, or activities (also very well-chosen-sites were all good quality as eere the activities) so I would thoroughly commend Marie in her patience and dedication behind the scenes to give us the most amazing insight into this fascinating land.

Beautiful trip of Canada
An incredible trip around Canada, the lower Rockies and Vancouver/ Island.
August 2-19 Passionate by Nature review, William & Sandra Esquer
Authentik review
8/23/26
Our August 2-19, 2026 trip from Vancouver to Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise and the Okanagan wine valley was fantastic and amazing. We did just about 2800 km, a little over our mapped of about 2200 km. We had no mechanical issues whatsoever!
/>
We have travelled in rented RVs in Alaska, the U.S (with Apollo), and Europe (twice, with European RV Tours).
We booked this tour in October 2025 and worked with Tanya Odam. We modified the 'Passionate By Nature' trip to cut down on the daily driving.
We ordered the Midi Motorhome MHB, specifically because it had the queen bed in the rear with walk-arounds on both sides and no pop-outs. You can leave your bed setup in place as you travel, it makes a great storage area. We've had this before and was #1 on our request list.
In our October 2025 planning with Tanya, we discussed the one day, in the Okanagan wine country, where we would dry-camp. The RV had a generator. We've done this before, so we knew we could handle that one day. Both Tanya and I were on the same page, that was the only campsite that we would have no facilities, all others, would have full hookups. I was wrong, we were not on the same page in our understandings.
I had clearly communicated with Tanya, the need for full hookups. When final booking was complete in January, she did not communicate that need could not be met at all sites, except for the winery. Shared responsibility is key.
Upon check-in at CanaDream, we were given a 3 year old vehicle with 2 pop-outs, one for the queen bed and one for the dining table area. There was no option to make a change. The bed had to be made up each day. The response was 'specific layout cannot be guaranteed'.
As it turned out, I did not look close enough at the final campsite bookings and discovered that in Jasper National Park we had no facilities for 3 nights and in Banff National Park, we were provided only electricity. By the time my wife discovered this on the trip, it was too late to make any changes, especially in high season.
I totally understand the campground limitations due to the recent fires in Jasper NP. Yes, we made it work, we were fine.
My mistake was assuming all campsites would be A or B rated. Again, I was wrong and I think, a review of campsites assigned and utilized by Authentik-Canada is warranted. We, as clients outside your country, rely on Authentik in choosing selections for us that meet your and your client's requirements.
For example, in Jasper NP, we had no hookups in spot J-20. The other side of Whistler's campground (loops 41-58) had full hookups, why did we not have them?
For example, in Banff NP, we were assigned Tunnel Mountain Village II, spot A14. It had electricity provided and the campsites were essentially a paved city road and RV parked on the street. There was no privacy. A simple change to Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court would have provided the option for privacy in a more wooded area and full hookups.
For example, in Revelstoke, we were at Williamson's Lake Campground. When we arrived, we were assigned spot 33, right next to the playground, literally 2 feet from the play area. Here, you parallel parked the RV, one behind the other, 3 in a row. I asked if we could be re-assigned and for one night, were given a back-in site, number 28. The night we were to move, August 15, we abandoned that facility and found Revelstoke RV and Cabin Resorts further up the road, which more than met our expectations and provided a delightful 1-night stay.
For example, our dry-camp night at the Crowsnest Vineyards Harvest Host (on our actual 46th anniversary) in Cawston was a disaster. We checked in and asked where the parking was for the RV. The young lady looked lost and pointed down Surprise Rd and stated, 'park behind the building', on the berm of paved Surprise Rd. We did not have enough leveling blocks. There was another RV family that also stayed on site, they parked behind us. Given that it was a Sunday night, the staff were not interested in their clients at all. They did not do a good job in promoting the winery, during the tasting, or the on-site restaurant. All was not lost, we did book a physical room at the winery for that evening's stay. We left the RV parked off the street. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was amazing!
I take responsibility for not scrutinizing the itinerary before final payment. I take responsibility in not delving into each campsite in detail. Had I done that, we perhaps, could have made a few changes. But, I assumed shared responsibility and Authentik chose campsite locations that had been recently vetted to meet their standards. Perhaps due to the language barrier and the Montreal location of Authentik, our email and phone communication was lacking, contributing to these situations.
The message we'd like to leave prospective clients is do your location homework. Authentik will package your dream vacation, but you'd better understand each campground facility you've worked out in their itinerary to ensure it meets your needs!

Absolutely lovely country & people
Authentik Canada provided us with lots of useful help and idea's and accommodated us with our particular travel dates and requirements. Alyssa was always helpful and informative with any questions or concerns that we had. Extremely pleased with everything.
Passionate by nature
We had an amazing holiday which was well organised by Alyssa . Everything went smoothly and all bookings etc were made correctly .
We found the Roadbook detailing the points of interest on the route to be very useful .
One gripe is that although we were happy with the campgrounds suggested the actual pitches were , in general, poor. We found that they were usually among the smallest on site , next to the road (or railway!) and/or with no view. This could be much improved by booking specific pitches after reviewing the layout of each campground.
We found that we did not require waste, water and power at each of our campgrounds but would have been content with either no services or just power. ( This would also enable a wider choice of pitches).
Our RV was satisfactory but we did notice, being from the UK, that the fuel efficiency was not as good as some of the van conversion types of RV and next time we would opt for one of these more fuel efficient RVs.

Review
Alexia was just great, she continually answered all our queries and questions and put together a fantastic itinerary for us to use a RV for 4 weeks around British Columbia.
3700km around Canada
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime holiday for me and my family. The country is absolutely stunning and should be on everyone’s travel list. From start to finish, both Authentik Canada and the rental company (Four Seasons) provided outstanding service, everything was seamless, well-organized, and we received just the right amount of detail to make our trip stress-free.
The only minor issue we encountered was with the roadmap app, which occasionally gave inaccurate distance estimates between locations. A quick double-check before setting off solved this, though.
Overall, it was an incredible experience with excellent service in a beautiful country. We’ll definitely be returning!

Best family trip ever
Our first RV adventure couldn’t have gone better!
Before finding Authentik, we spent a lot of time searching for campsites and RV rentals, not really knowing where to start. A colleague recommended Authentik, sharing how satisfied he was with their service—so we decided to give it a try.
From the moment we spoke with our local advisor, everything was taken care of. She handled all the reservations, and all we had to do was follow the perfectly planned itinerary. It made the entire experience effortless and stress-free.
Western Canada was breathtaking, and this turned out to be the best family trip we’ve ever had. Thank you, Authentik, for making it so easy and unforgettable!

Unforgettable RV Journey Through BC & Alberta
Our RV adventure through British Columbia and Alberta was an incredible mix of coastal charm, mountain majesty, and peaceful wilderness. Starting in Vancouver, we explored Victoria’s seaside beauty, the wild Pacific Rim, and the remote tranquility of Port Hardy.
From there, we journeyed through Nanaimo and Squamish, then into the heart of the Rockies—Wells Gray, Jasper, Lake Louise, and Banff—each stop offering stunning landscapes and unforgettable hikes.
We wrapped up with lakeside serenity in Revelstoke, vineyard camping in the Okanagan, and a relaxing finale at Harrison Hot Springs. Traveling by RV gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace, with nature always just outside our door.
A truly epic road trip—highly recommended!

BC Road Trip
We had an amazing road trip thanks to Authentik's expert help and experience. Our RV trip took us from Vancouver Island, up through the Rockies and back to Vancouver through the Okanagan Valley.
The itinerary and campgrounds arranged for us by Authentik were absolutely perfect for our needs. We wouldn't hesitate to use and recommend Authentik who represent incredible value for money!

Western Canada 3 week roadtrip
Even before booking and right to then Authentik Canada and Alyssa have been great. Using the website was easy to make plans or adapt anything you wanted. The amount of information available was so helpful, the amount of knowledge from Alyssa was great, the communication from her was great and always answering my questions.
Booking the trip was super easy to have everything in one place and suggested activities you can book on.
I couldn't recommend this company enough and will definitely be using them again as so much more of Canada to see.

20 days RV road trip: Vancouver - The Rockies - Vancouver Island
Everything was excellent. In particular:
Communication with Meridian RV was easy. Collection of RV was friendly and helpful. The RV irself was slightly higer spec than expected and was less than a year old and had covered only 12,000 km. We drove 3,00 km on our trip. Return of the RV was also friendly and straightforward. Deposit refunded on the day.
The campsites were all very good too. We didn't even have to show paperwork. On arrival I just gave each one my name and our reservation was confirmed. Overall no real issues with anything. I'd be happy to provide more information on each campsite if you wish.
The advice given by Authentik Canada ahead of our holiday was accurate and timely.
OVERALL EXCELLENT

Great family RV experience in the western part of Canada
Thanks to the team (Alyssa) we had a truly great RV experience. It all started with the easy to use trip configuration that allows adjustments to the tour, selection of different campground and planning of activities, so that we got a first positive impression what to expect. The booking process afterwards was transparent including a nice to read and useful roadblock. All campgrounds booked by Alyssa had been at wonderful locations with many activities to do. The RV was great and the activities recommended and pre booked had been great as well. The country is just to big to see everything, so we will need to come back. [...]
Fantastic trip!! Thank you Authentik
Marine and Authentik made our trip of a lifetime so easy. All I did was select the trip I wanted, the excursions I wanted and Marine then booked and arranged every single thing. The communication and help received was fantastic. The support during trip was so appreciated; there were wild fires at one destination, so Authentik contacted me immediately and re-routed us to a different destination. All excursions were superb; loved walking the Athabasca Glacier, the Seaplane in Whistler, River Safari (managed to see a bear), the white water rafting (gentle version) and then Orca watching in Victoria. I wouldn't hesitate to use Authentik again. [...]
Our west Adventure
Our trip was fantastic,The itinary showed the most scenic routes, All reservations were in order, the guide book proved to be very helpful in planning .Everything went off well. Michelle was helpful in streaming out vacation.I have recommend your services to others. For us it has been strip of a lifetime Thanks
Fantastic holiday
We had a wonderful time during our 3-weeks trip in Canada. Everything was well organised, communication was clear and any questions were quickly resolved. The roadbook was very useful and nicely put together. Although some of the practical information was somewhat outdated (2019) so an update would be recommended.
Nice but too much driving
We were off for over 3 weeks but the driving was punishingly long. With the RV, we had to add about 1/3 to the travelling time. The campsites were lovely but sometimes quite out of the tracks so it added extra journey time. Also, most times, even if we stayed in the same area, we had to change campsite, which was sometimes inconvenient.
Activity wise there are two we didn’t enjoy that much, the hat creek park and the river safari: both really added very little to our experience and were over priced. The travel book we received was out of date, telling us details of festivals that took place in 2019 or businesses that were no longer in operation.
All in all, it was convenient to use Authentik Canada, but we feel it was not always what we were expecting. Of course we should have paid more attention at those details once we received the itinerary and we will make sure we review those next time.

Canada 2022
It’s was a great four weeks. Everyday as good as the previous. BC and Alberta are so different from Australia and so very scenic. The Canadian people are so friendly and helpful. The history of the areas we visited was so so interesting
The CanaDream van was exactly what we wanted and the trip book provided by Authentik was a great help
Amazing Experience
We were doing a 3 week customized round trip starting from Vancouver based on one of the standard Authentik trips. We were late with the planning but Casandra from Authentik made sure we still got great locations on short notice.
We liked most the Okanagan for its stunning nature and the area around Banff for all the visible wildlife.
Such a long round trip comes with a trade off, you get to see a lot, but you have usually not enough time to enjoy each place. Even if you stay 2 nights, you will be constantly unpacking and packing within the RV to be ready to move.
You need to consider if you want to spend more and go one way (Vancouver-Calgary or vice versa) or do a round trip. For us, that would have been around 10% higher cost.
Small tip, especially if you travel with smaller kids: If you have a log travel day (5hrs+) get up very early, pack the kids sleeping in their seats and cover the first 2hrs, then make a breakfast break.
It would have been very difficult for us to manage this trip on our own with all these stops within reasonable travel distances. The trip included the RV rental with Canadreams, which worked very well as well.
Casandra responded to any request in a timely and professional manner.
We as a family of 5 highly recommend Authentik to cater for your travel needs.

A beautiful discovery of the Canadian West
(Translated by Google) We were able to explore another part of Canada during early autumn with an RV spacious enough to cook and relax in after our days. This type of transport suits us well for being freer with our stops. In our case, we could have done without electrical hookups at campgrounds; the LPG and 12V autonomy was always sufficient. A slight drawback: the return trip from Vancouver to Calgary is long (about 900km) and significantly less interesting. If it had been possible to return the RV in Vancouver, we could have taken an earlier flight (and reorganized the trip to spend a few days elsewhere beforehand). [...]
An almost perfect trip!
(Translated by Google) Very nice itinerary, the campsites very well located, the number of kilometers to do per day well spread out.
Road trip out West in an RV
(Translated by Google) We spent three wonderful weeks aboard our RV. We were enchanted by the landscapes of Western Canada after our discovery of Quebec and Gaspesia 3 years ago.
Sublime journey!
(Translated by Google) We are delighted with our trip, wonderfully organized by Authentik Canada. The services provided were of a very good standard, especially the vehicle with Canadream. We loved our road trip and would gladly recommend Authentik Canada to our loved ones!
Exceptional journey
(Translated by Google) Our best experiences were the "Lighthouse loop" trail in Pacific Rim, the bear safari by boat and whale watching, and the seaplane flight over the glaciers.
On the negative side, but this is an unforeseeable event, there were the wildfires. We never felt in danger because Authentiek answered our questions. But the wildfire smoke caused us stress (air quality) for 6 days.

MAGIFIQUE_new word that my partner and I invented
(Translated by Google) We chose the 21-day passionate nature tour. Our advisor planned it to meet our needs and allow us to enjoy the best places. The planning was perfect; the number of nights at each location was determined by the attractions in each city and park. We greatly appreciated the service and the customization offered by Authetik.
Very good and very responsive agency
(Translated by Google) I was pleasantly satisfied with the interactions with the agency, their responsiveness, and the proposed itinerary. We had an issue with the motorhome, which, thanks to Authentik Canada's intervention, was resolved very quickly.
A magical journey
(Translated by Google) 3 sumptuous weeks in breathtaking settings. A high-quality itinerary and program to make the most of the splendor of Western Canada.
A perfect organization!
(Translated by Google) We completed the "nature lover" tour in a camper van. We are used to organizing our own road trips in the United States, but this year, a lack of time led us to Authentik Canada. And we absolutely do not regret it! The pace of the tour is optimal, all campsites (including those in national parks which are difficult to book) and shuttles are reserved. Marie-Michèle, who managed our file, was very responsive. Also, the application is very well designed and really useful for everything to go smoothly. In short, we will certainly go through Authentik Canada again for a future trip. [...]
