Gaspesie road trip
SUPERB TRIP
(Translated by Google) Despite a chaotic start to the trip with the pick-up of the car which was not the one we had rented, it was a very nice trip, much anticipated because we were to do it in August 2020! We did a lot of kilometers but the trip was balanced in terms of driving day and rest day. Not to be missed: Gaspésie, whale watching in a zodiac, bear watching, the Saguenay Fjord and Quebec City. Lots of steps, animal watching: short nature trip. Thanks to Authentik Canada, welcoming Quebecers. [...]
Trip perfectly meeting our expectations in relation to the quote
(Translated by Google) Contacts with Maxim made it possible to establish a program and an estimate which proved to meet our expectations.
the circuit allowed us to discover this part of Canada that we did not know. Only a crossing further east would have avoided a round trip to Trois Pistoles, but we didn't think of that during our discussions.
Well done!
Cordially

Gaspésie by electric car is possible
(Translated by Google) We really loved this trip to Quebec. An exceptional nature and this majestic Saint Laurent but also the sympathy of Quebecers.
Our favorite stopovers, without hesitation, are Domaine Valga in the middle of the forest and the warm welcome of Eric and his family: beautiful evenings at the brazier!
the Natakam Condos on the banks of the river with parades of porpoises and rorquals a few tens of meters away.
Percé and Bonaventure Island with its Northern Gannet colony
Forillon Park and its walks
Without forgetting the cities of Quebec and Montreal
What happiness
A little word also for our correspondent Marie Michele, for her wise advice during the trip, quick answers and above all her sympathy

Excellent
(Translated by Google) Busy program, but recommended for those who want a full experience.
On arrival at the airport, it would be useful to specify the means of reaching the hotel in Montreal (Taxi, shuttle, etc.)
Basically well organized trip apart from two hotels.
(Translated by Google) We were very satisfied with the proposed program. It is well balanced. The documentation (roadbook) is a very good working tool. The choices of activities are numerous and excellent. On the other hand, the AVIS rental company is not correct. She uses all means to extort supplements. It's unpleasant. As for the hotels, two are not recommendable. Hotel le Roberval, our rooms were not reserved. After discussion with Authentik Canada and the hotel, we inherited huge, uncomfortable rooms. The second hotel not to recommend is the Auberge des 21. Supposedly, we were entitled to a breakfast. We received them the day before in a bag with products (see photo) not worthy of a breakfast. We had to take it to our room. No coffee in the room. Deplorable reception. On the other hand , the Domaine Valga is the friendliest hotel . What a welcome, what kindness, excellent food.
Another problem encountered is finding open restaurants. Many were closed.
In summary, very good trip, good service from Authentic Canada but accommodation to improve in terms of reception or services.

perfect trip but very tiring
(Translated by Google) three remarks:
Why do the Canadian authorities want to discourage people with no computer skills from traveling to Canada?
When we arrived in Canada, you chose a hotel in the center of Montreal: it took us 3 hours to get there because of work in the area, we were too tired to go eat or visit Montreal. The next day we took 2 hours to leave Montreal. It would have been better to choose a hotel near the airport or outside Montreal.
September 15, route Parc de la Gaspésie Tadoussac: the Auberge de la Seigneurie des monts in Saint-Anne-des monts is perfect and the host of the most charming and efficient; however, we had to get up at 5 am to be able to reach the Ferry pier 30 minutes before the departure of the latter, one night in the Inn would have been enough and one night in a hotel in Matane would have been preferable.
Apart from that all the hotels, lodges and other accommodations were perfect.

Authentik disappointed me on THIS trip…
(Translated by Google) After two top trips with Authentik, this third one really upset me, and in the end I just booked with the agency the start of my trip in order to use my "2020 pre-covid" credit and for the rest I managed by myself.
In my opinion, Authentik has lost a lot in quality since covid. I was super happy with my adviser for the first trip (2018) but for the second (2019) I had to change because the first had changed jobs, that said, this new adviser was on top too, but in the end I had to change for my 3rd trip (2020 postponed to 2022) because she too had changed jobs. And sorry but my advisor for this third trip clearly annoyed me, maybe she should change jobs if she doesn't like it. Sorry for this not very positive opinion, I'm probably just a "cursed Frenchman" but in any case I'm no longer a client of the agency.

Superb trip
(Translated by Google) An exceptional trip with the discovery of exceptional parks
A special mention for the Valga outfitter, an exceptional place in the middle of nature, we would like to stay there longer
In short, a trip to redo
Road trip in Gaspésie
(Translated by Google) Flawless organization: We take advantage of every moment of the visit to this beautiful region without worrying about logistics. The hotels are all good and even different (from the cottage to the spa hotel) and the Canadians are all very welcoming. It's just 15 days of wonderful vacation along the St. Lawrence and the Atlantic with the weather on our side, taking advantage of the countless parks in the region. The only small regret is that we did not have the possibility of taking a sea view option in Percé: The hotel "La Normandie" is superbly well placed in front of the percé rock and we had a view of the car park. The other options offered were up to the rest of the trip, especially the "lobster" dinner. Everything was perfect and helped make a dream trip come true. Thanks [...]
very good organization, great!!!!
(Translated by Google) Our trip went very well, rental car exceeded our request, no additional costs, quick Canadian checks (everything prepared online before leaving).
The driving was stressful at first but we adapted: we forgot the French reflexes.
Accommodation: superior hotels to our usual travel, the one we preferred is: DOMAINE VALGA
We felt the soul of canada and the owners very close to the customers.

Achievement of the Grand Seduction
(Translated by Google) It was therefore our 3rd Road Trip with Authentik, and everything went very well because everything that was reserved was honored. Like the previous two times. We have therefore never been disappointed by Authentik!
Let's start with what we really liked, in no order of preference:
The Auberge de la Pointe and its restaurant as well as the breathtaking view of the Saint Laurent and its sunset.
Domaine Valga and its Hosts, warm, friendly and professional. Sports and relaxation activities, tree climbing and canoeing. And despite the sanitary conditions, the meals are still excellent and convivial.
The "tadoussac" stage with 1 very nice surprise: the Natakam condos with a magnificent view of the Saint Laurent and passages of Beluga and Whales morning and evening....and this at 1 calm. The whale watching excursion is still great.
The Mont Albert cottage in the heart of the park, it was our 2nd time and it is still so magical! The restaurant is still excellent.
The descent of the Bonaventure river: excellent organization and essential activity.
And what about Rocher Percé and hiking on Bonaventure Island: magnificent landscapes!
Then, what we liked: Quebec and Montreal. The hotels were well placed and met our expectations.
Some negative points but which remain details:
At the Riotel Bonaventure, the rooms are cramped for 4 adults, but the view is magnificent and the breakfast was excellent.
Gaspé remains a sleeping stage (not having been able to do the kayak, the fault of the weather) because we did not have time to go to Forillon Park.
Our assessment is therefore more than positive, with images and good times in mind.
Of course, our next trip....why not next year but during the Indian summer....will be with Authentik Canada.

Excellent experience
(Translated by Google) We are more than delighted with our first trip to Quebec, organized by Authentik Canada and in particular Emilie Boivin, from the reservation/organization process to the completion of this one. Whether it was hotel/ferry/activities reservations, there was no hitch.
Thank you!
top!
(Translated by Google) Nothing to complain about, the organization was top notch. Entry into the hotel is very easy. Thanks again!
Very nice trip!
(Translated by Google) We have just returned from a very nice trip to Gaspésie, great organization, thank you Authentik Canada!
A small detail, we got the wrong day to perform the service on the island of Orleans and in our opinion, we would have had trouble making the Tadoussac / Quebec transfer (+ 3 hours drive with a ferry!) with the bike the same day!
Thank you to the rental company who found us an even nicer alternative with the scooter rental. great service to offer to your customers!
Thanks to the whole team

Satisfied
A dream come true
Great discovery of Gaspésie with the family
(Translated by Google) We had an amazing stay with our two daughters aged 6 and 9. Incredible landscapes, full of animal sights. Places still preserved from mass tourism. The road trip combining discovery and rest.
The splendours of Gaspésie
(Translated by Google) We had the chance to take a wonderful road trip in Gaspésie, which allowed us to discover the country outside the big cities and to admire unforgettable landscape paintings. The travel guide, information and assistance provided by Authentik were valuable and knowledgeable travel companions, which allowed us to end our stay very serenely.
Even our Canadian families and friends were impressed by the quality and know-how of the Authentik team!
We did the family trip with our teenagers (16 and 19), and everyone came out with stars in their eyes.
A big thank you to Authentik for this great experience.

Memorable stay
(Translated by Google) Country with grandiose landscapes and a very high quality of tourist service despite the shortage of staff in hotels
Excellent advice and help for the trip
(Translated by Google) We received valuable advice adapted to our situation.
Availability of the team at the top and excellent responsiveness.
Stay in Gaspésie
(Translated by Google) A nice trip to Quebec. The hotels of a good standard, magnificent landscapes especially the Bic and Percé park and the kayaking on the St Laurent in Les Escoumins where we were able to see the spectacular whales!!!
We were less thrilled with the Parc de la Gaspésie.., if we had to do it again I would replace it with the Parc du Forillon, which we were unable to visit.
[...]
Very nice trip to Gaspésie.
(Translated by Google) Very well organized trip that allowed us to tour the Gaspé Peninsula.
Reservations (car + hotels) went well although it would have been desirable to have breakfast included each morning.
The total price of the trip is still a little high but we recommend the Gaspé during the summer to all travelers!
Ps: remember to book parking at the hotel in Quebec!

A BEAUTIFUL ROAD TRIP IN GASPESIE
(Translated by Google) Our trip led us to visit Gaspésie. We are very happy with our trip, we have seen very beautiful things and the accommodation is good. We enjoyed the VALGA outfitter (despite the mosquitoes).
Everything was well organized and no problems.
Quebecers are charming people.
thank you for a nice trip
Grandiose
(Translated by Google) The choice of hotels, the proposed circuit allowed us to see beautiful landscapes, to enjoy the national parks.
The Auberge de la Pointe à Rivière du Loup with a view of the river is a must.
Only downside as it is not yet the summer period we did not have access to all the activities that we wanted to undertake.
Very good stay, well organized
(Translated by Google) A well-balanced course in the Gaspesie, which allowed us to take full advantage of the superb landscapes around the St. Laurent. A small regret however, at the end of May, many sites, attractions are not yet open. A word of advice, do not take the ferry to Matane, in fact it almost always breaks down! In summary, a very nice stay, which it is better to plan from mid-June, to be sure that everything is open. [...]
Superb trip to Gaspésie

Roadtrip “The Great Seduction” in Gaspésie
(Translated by Google) First encounter for us with Gaspésie, and we were lucky, under the sun!
For our family who loves sport and loves flavors, colors, adventures and encounters, here is our “Top 10 of the best Summer 2021 memories” with Authentik Canada:
1/ Stroll on the beach, in the dunes and the very charming colorful village of Tadoussac, and see beluga heads and whale tails from the shore – Also our 7-10 year old daughters loved the outdoor swimming pool and the indoor games at Hôtel Tadoussac. And I really liked the salads and desserts of Café Bohème recommended in the Roadbook Authentik Canada.
2/ Have an aperitif on the terrace of the Maison du Pêcheur with a magnificent sunset over the famous Percé Rock, and eat the best lobsters and oysters in the region – Reservation made for 6 p.m. by Authentik Canada and highly recommended in the month of August - then fall asleep peacefully at the Riôtel Percé.
3/ Go down the magnificent Bonaventure River by canoe in the morning with a picnic stop along the river, and swim in the extraordinarily clear and warm water in the afternoon, to end in style at the Café Acadien with a beautiful walk or skate to the Riôtel Bonaventure.
4/ Reconnect with nature and…adventure at Pourvoirie Valga – One of our big favorites to end our trip with the authentic Canadian spirit!
5/ Take Route 132 between Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and Cap-des-Rosiers, and stop to admire the beautiful lighthouses and have a picnic there. www.routedesphares.qc.ca
6/ Savor the best ice cream and chocolates in Quebec at Couleur Chocolat, Artisan Chocolatier in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and discover new local beers in microbreweries like La Fabrique on the way down from the ferry in Matane - (yes, we are Belgian with some cute sins ????).
7/ Take a walk in the poetic Jardin de Métis, even in the rain!
8/ Enjoy a delicious breakfast with a good espresso - very rare - and a very nice view from the terrace of the Auberge la Seigneurie des Monts, before hitting the road again.
9/ Enjoy a magnificent sunset on the terrace of the Auberge de La Pointe in Rivière-du-Loup (+ indoor pool for girls).
10/ Return serenely with your head full of memories, via the Picturesque Route of Navigators, and write Authentik Canada postcards to family and friends.
One of our big favourites, Pourvoirie Valga in St-Gabriel-De-Rimouski!
A real little corner of paradise with the authentic Canadian spirit as we like it. Pourvoirie Valga combines nature, adventure (Arbre-en-Arbre course for all levels), sport (kayac, canoe, paddle board), discovery (trout fishing, Bertrand beaver observation), and…authentic encounters with owner-builders of the inn and the adventure course, Chantal, Eric and their daughter Catherine! Finally we did not escape the delicious pancakes with the famous homemade maple syrup ???? After sport and adventure, a good table with local flavors awaited us, as well as a spacious and warm family room. We will come back in winter to test the Valga Extreme Adventure!
What we liked least:
- Bad luck, bad weather for our “Hike Caribou” in the Gaspésie National Park, and missed meeting with the caribou? Also, the shuttle system to access the Mont Jacques-Cartier trail is quite complicated and inflexible. Parked in the parking lot of the Center de services et decouverte, there was only one return shuttle at 4 p.m., while there were several shuttles to the Camping du Mont Jacques-Cartier. Maybe it would be better to park at the campsite?
- Sometimes the distances between stages are long in the car, especially for children. Lots of time in the car/shuttle between Parc de La Gaspésie and Auberge la Seigneurie des Monts. I think the Gîte du Mont Albert would have been a better choice for our family (accommodation + meals). Also, for families with children 7-10 years old, I highly recommend staying a minimum of 2 nights in accommodation.
- Difficulty finding good restaurants for dinner, especially in Baie-Comeau and St-Anne-des-Monts. Several restaurants were closed, full and/or did not accept visitors who did not have accommodation with them (such as the Gîte du Mont Albert). Suggestion to book accommodations AND restaurants before departure in high season, and perhaps with the help of Authentik Canada?
In terms of the Authentik Canada service, the site helps a lot in planning the circuit, accommodation and activities. Also, our Travel Advisor Marie-Michèle recommended the Pourvoirie Valga to us, which included all meals, and it was great! Finally, the personalized Roadbook received at home with recommendations "What to do?" Where to eat ? » made our life a lot easier, and the postcards kept the girls busy on the way home (good exercise in writing and spelling before the start of the school year).
Gaspésie is wild, gourmet and truly seductive; it is felt, savored and encountered, especially with children. Take the time to fully enjoy and let yourself be seduced by this region! If we could start the trip again, we wouldn't change much. Automatically book restaurants in advance, and perhaps sleep in a lighthouse, and/or visit a local cheese dairy… We hope that these few lines will inspire/help you for your next trip to Gaspésie. Very good trip to you and again a big THANK YOU to Authentik Canada for the magical memories!

Excellent service and choice of hotels, as well as the itinerary.
(Translated by Google) Authentic offers excellent service and listens to your wishes. A great team!
A nice travel carrier
(Translated by Google) Overall very happy with this trip and its organization. Only 2 stages were not completely satisfactory: The Matane wildlife reserve is reserved for people who really want to be isolated and ONLY want to walk. Percé: the Riotel was fantastic: very disappointed to have only been able to stay one night (the next room was empty...)
