The Essence of Quebec
Great experiences in Quebec
(Translated by Google) Thanks to Authentik and especially to Marie-Michèle. We spent 17 unforgettable days in Quebec. See you soon for new Canadian adventures!
Eyeful
(Translated by Google) Family trip with our children aged 15 and 23. Superb trip, we were lucky to see moose, black bears, beavers, whales of different species, seals, gannets, squirrels... Very different landscapes between Montreal, Saguenay Fjord, Percé, Quebec. Hikes of Mount Xalibu, on the island of Bonneaventure, Bic Park, ... superb. Cayak on the fjord, canoe on the magnificent and very exotic ponds. Effective management of natural parks to safeguard both fauna and flora while receiving a lot of public. Functional rented vehicle although the "roads?" and tracks in Quebec have not improved its comfort! Good to very good accommodation even if the ready-to-camp is more pleasant without the rain and with more blankets (claimed at reception - blankets because of the sun...). Montreal and Quebec have charmed us with their cleanliness, the atmosphere that is both festive and calm. The welcome of the Quebecers, their colorful, sometimes incomprehensible talk seduced us all. Convenience stores so convenient. The perfect organization in the Triton outfitter stems from a long habit of total autonomy in very remote places.
We were less fond of the American diet without vegetables or fruit or cheese unless we paid a lot more. Personally, I don't find the poutine very good, choose your establishment well to taste it. Roads in poor condition. The principle of tipping impractical. Note the absence of laundromat, be sure to identify the laundries available in some accommodations. Quebec is a tourist region very appreciated by the French, too much at this season especially by adding the often French staff too, little change of scenery on this side! Also flat about the impact of our boat trips (9 at the same time on the site) on the whales in full feeding.
We will return to Quebec, rather to Gaspésie, rather in September or squarely in winter and with locals in order to better understand their way of life and perhaps eat traditional dishes?

AUTHENTIK MAKES THE PREPARATION OF YOUR FIRST TRIP EASIER
(Translated by Google) Good preparation for the trip with Authentik, especially for a first. We undeniably gain in efficiency and safety. Support from a dedicated advisor is a plus. Having local support in the same time zone is also reassuring. The advantage of Authentik is to open the doors to unusual places of residence for you to provide accommodation in keeping with your budget and your type of accommodation. Authentik lets you organize part of the Road Trip (limited to half the nights of the stay). this makes it possible to maintain a certain freedom in the course. Cleverly the entire route is integrated into the Road Book. This is superbly presented. It is waiting for you on the first night of your stay and is a guide that can be invaluable during your stay with the best places to visit. It is also a beautiful memory book.
If it were necessary to quote expectations:
- a more dynamic route interface (in almost all frequented places, Wi-Fi would make it possible to retrieve data on your phone, including routes on Google Maps). The GPS option offered by rental companies or Authentik is now outdated.
- greater originality in the choice of accommodation or restaurants to deviate from what is offered by the Guide du Routard
- ditto for places to visit
- a clearer description of the advantage we have of booking activities through Authentik (price, speed on site, better services, etc.)
- a questioning of some obsolete accommodation and the integration of new hotels that deserve it
- a real guide to the micro-breweries that remain a strong point of the part visited and a link between all of Quebec visited.

Magnificent Quebec and great Quebecers
(Translated by Google) Very pleasant, fluid, varied trip
On the other hand, you have to leave early in the morning to take advantage of the very complete program of the road book.
Very beautiful landscapes (but less grandiose and breathtaking than the American West) In fact the landscapes are closer to ours
With forests, mid-mountains, lakes and rugged coastlines
Quebecers are really adorable, a little slow in the service at the restaurant but we forgive them everything
Varied hotels ranging from the classic hotel to the cozy inn like the wonderful Auberge de la fjordelaise whose superior room overlooks the Saguenay Fjord and the meals are delicious
Avoid rooms 208 and 209 of the inn on the sea whose noisy kitchen extractor rejects odors and heat just below the balconies (we were insisting on changing rooms and very good table)
All our accommodations were well located and the alternation of one and two nights was perfect
Absolutely lovely hotel staff everywhere
The outfitters are absolutely to try especially Valga very cozy and great owners
No problem with the car

Exceptional trip .... organization in the image of the trip!
(Translated by Google) 3 weeks to travel through the Mauricie, Haute-Mauricie (Experience among the Amerindians -top, Pourvoirie du Triton-top top) then express passage through Lac St Jean (not of much interest for us), Fjord Saguenay (magnificent) then Tadoussac (chalets in Les Escoumins : it's nice to find yourself "at home" and the possibility of making a machine!), essential to then cross to Gaspésie, much less touristy (at least for international tourists) and go around it ( Parc de la Gaspésie, magnificent even if we didn't see any moose, Parc du Forillon disappointing, but surely because the weather was not on our side at the time), Percé (very beautiful) then Bonaventure River (which has nothing to envy to the Gorges du Tarn) to end with Pouvoirie Valga, relaxing and finally Quebec, charming.
The organization was impeccable, the hotels up to the expected standard, except for the Riotel in Bonaventure (never seen such a small bathroom!) and thanks to Tiffany for her support during the necessary rescheduling of our crossing of the St Laurent following damage of the ferry.

Family trip
(Translated by Google) We spent 20 days in Canada with 2 children aged 8 and 10.
The on-site services were consistent with those offered by Authentik Canada.
The proposed course was at the top and perfectly compatible with a family trip with young children.
The choice of hotels was also relevant. Special mention for the Auberge Saint Mathieu, the Valga estate and the fjordelaise.
Flat for the Manoir de Perce and the Auberge sur Mer a Notre Dame, but we had confirmed our trip too late to have other choices.
Authentik Canada also provides a very detailed road brook allowing you to organize your day to day very easily.

We will return !
(Translated by Google) We will come back because we loved this region, its nature, the welcome of Quebecers, the sweetness of life.
We will also come back because the principle of the "Road trip" has frustrated us: barely arrived to discover a corner, that already we have to leave.
Nice discovery of Quebec
(Translated by Google) The service received from our adviser was exceptional and his responsiveness when there was a problem!
We appreciated the good organization of the circuit, the choice of hotels and their location.
What we liked least was our experience with Thrifty.
Superb trip
(Translated by Google) Superb organization everything went as planned. We have always been greeted by very friendly, helpful people who like to talk to each other.
Good representation of the landscapes of Quebec. Quality visits.
Unforgettable experience
(Translated by Google) We had a wonderful and unforgettable trip!
The excellent organization allowed us to take full advantage of each experience without asking logistical questions!
We particularly liked the meetings we had with our hosts.
During our trip we have the opportunity to go on a sailboat trip as well as a night! It was one of the highlights of our stay.
We appreciated the Valjalbert site a little less, but after so many unusual experiences, the site seemed a bit...flat, as Quebecers would say!

look forward to the next one!
(Translated by Google) wonderful trip, the landscapes like the people are great.
everything went smoothly, we were even upgraded for the car.
the Authentik advisers had perfectly and quickly responded to our requests.
the tips are very helpful and the prices seem competitive.
only remark: for the natural parks we would have liked to know the prices in the roadbook and perhaps the purchase of the all parks card from the start would have been wise...

Discovery of Quebec
(Translated by Google) Very pleasant trip to discover Quebec. We were able to discover the diversity of Quebec through Mauricie, Haute Mauricie, Lac St-Jean, the Saguenay Fjord and Gaspésie. All on a 21-day rhythm allowing us to take advantage of the national parks to breathe between each stage. We particularly enjoyed the stage in the upper Mauricie, the Saguenay Fjord and in Gaspésie, with in particular Forillon and the region of Gaspé and Percé. The Lac Saint Jean region did not particularly thrill us.
The organization was perfect (no hiccups), the hotels, inns and other outfitters corresponded to the descriptions and each welcome was always of high quality.

Enter the Top 3 of our best trips
(Translated by Google) Dear Authentic Canada Advisors,
We have only one word in mouth "Thank you".
Not only is your site extraordinarily well done and built, congratulations to the IT specialists on your team, but your team is extremely efficient (especially Joannie Bruyère who was extremely efficient and exceptionally kind). I am one of your biggest fan and your best advert. I tell everyone about you. I tell them that if they want to go to Quebec, they just have to go through your site. That's what happens when you're good. The good attracts the good and the good the best. What we wish for you.
Our trip is unforgettable, one of the best we have done so far after Australia and Japan. But we will come back in winter to taste your winters and see your wonderful landscapes under the snow. "with a good big, very thick and very warm down jacket, good mittens and a cap with earmuffs on the other hand", equipped with what LoL.
The places where we slept were exceptional.
If I go back to the order of our stay, the C10 hotel in Montreal, great, we even were there during the filming of a very funny reality TV series. The Saint-Mathieu-sur-lac inn, brilliant, welcoming very well. There one of the best moments of our life, the return to the sources at La Pourvoirie du Triton (which moreover bears its name "La Seigneurie du Triton"), it is a magical place, all the staff are exceptionally kind, benevolent , welcoming, loves. And the 3 days, cut off from the world, from the internet, from the telephone, from everything, from getting together with the family by the fireside, it really does feel good. Alone with nature, wolves in the distance, the lake and mosquitoes, just pure moments of happiness. And at La seigneurie, everyone was extremely nice. Big plus for them. So the hotel in the garden... what can we say about this hotel, that we have never seen such relaxed staff, that fortunately we were there to tell them that their swimming pool was out of order and the price for washing clothes at the machine down. But otherwise comfortable room and bed. The only one that we did not appreciate at all, "l'auberge des Cévennes". The people there weren't very helpful, a definite no for a spoonful of oil and vinegar, I found that not very nice, we spent 2 more nights there, I really had regret. On the other hand, the trip in a great sea kayak, the only strong point of the place, the great team. If I had known, I would have preferred to sleep 2 nights in Natakam, an extremely well-kept, sublime place, we loved it. The Auberge de Valga, love of people, super endearing, a truly beautiful place filled with love and an exceptional place as well. The ready-to-camp, what can I say, we are not camping at all, my husband and I and that was a confirmation. But the mattresses are very comfortable and we slept well. Luckily the weather was with us too, for that we were very lucky too, in the rain we wouldn't have experienced it the same way. Highlight of the area, the "Mange Grenouille" inn, a magical and baroque, magical place, we ate extremely well there, the meat in butter, tender, a real treat. Congratulations to the team and the kitchens, it was the strong point of the Parc du Bic. The Auberge sur Mer, very good, we were treated to a very pretty sunset, which was not won when we arrived in heavy rain. And finally, Quebec, one of our favourites. We preferred Quebec to Montreal. The C3 hotel has just exceptional bedding, I've never slept so well in my life as in their bed, and the city is really very pretty. The meal at Le Concorde hotel was great, we're not even talking about the exceptional view. We ended our stay with the icing on the cake. Moreover, our son told us that when he graduates, he will want to settle there to work.
So I'm going to repeat myself, but we thank you for your wonderful advice, for this stay engraved forever in our memory, with lots of sublime memories. Thank you to your super, adorable and very helpful advisor Joannie Bruyère.
We will come back to you without hesitation for our next project, in winter this time, because we are sure and certain that you will again be able to advise us very well.
We wish you a good continuation and only the best. Congratulations and THANKS
The Caenevet family
P.S.: Hope my review wasn't too long.

Everything was in line with our requests, no bad surprises.
(Translated by Google) We did a 3 week road trip, everything was well organized, no bad surprises.
It was a very nice trip, we discovered a large part of Quebec with great pleasure, grandiose nature and incomparable hospitality.
Excellent preparation and follow-up, thank you joannie
(Translated by Google) After 3770 kilometers the choice of car is essential

Charm of Mauricie and Gaspésie.
(Translated by Google) We appreciated :
- the diversity of the places visited along the route,
- the planning of the various visits and
- advice and follow-up from Authentik during the trip (cancellation, and proposal to postpone the whale safari),
- the overall quality of accommodation.
The setbacks encountered were due to the weather.

A beautiful trip, it takes no less to discover these vast expanses.
(Translated by Google) The Outfitters, Hotels and Gites offered as well as the pace are well suited to adults and children probably older than ours (3 years old on the day of departure) she had a little trouble changing places almost every day to sleep and the first 2 days in Montreal after arrival are not too much to pick up the pace. The only "shadow" on the board is that there are no shutters or blackout curtains in many accommodations. [...]
Great discovery of a French-speaking region and its charming inhabitants.
(Translated by Google) Trip very well prepared thanks to Emilie and some analysis such as options and restaurant reservations complementary to those planned by Authentik Canada.
The period from the end of September to the beginning of October is strongly recommended because with a bit of luck, we are right in the middle of the superb colors typical of this period.
Pay attention to the dates of park or transport closures. We were right on the edge and therefore had no frustration.
The Lac Saint Jean part did not seem useful to us at all. It would have been better to spend a little more time near Tadoussac or at Seigneurie - Pourvoirie Du Triton. This is the place we liked the most.
The whales were there in Tadoussac. Great moment and a system of small boats (Zodiac style resembling those in the Sagenay Fjord) very significant because small, fast, and excellent protection against wind and spray. The guide opens the plexiglass protections as soon as we arrive on site. We also receive a very well lined waterproof jacket to complete the set.

Totally satisfied
(Translated by Google) A beautiful, well-balanced trip with excellent stopover accommodation
Superb magical trip during which we learned to discover and love Quebec and Quebecers
(Translated by Google) Remarkable organization of the trip - Thanks to Emilie Boivin for understanding our expectations and responding to them - The unexpected was dealt with within the hour (Crossing to our stop at Île aux lièvres impossible because of the wind and the Saint Laurent disassembled).
Good choice of accommodation and a superbly produced Road Book ...
And the colors were on point....

An intense trip, superb landscapes, the welcoming and smiling Canadian population, what happiness!
(Translated by Google) Emilie selected the best "Spots" and established a perfect organization of my trip. The well-chosen and comfortable lodgings allowed me to appreciate the warm welcome of their owners, and to have a pleasant dialogue with them, which helped me a lot in my choices, in addition to the "Roadbook", in order to optimize my stay with you.
In summary, I loved Quebec! and I will come back, because it is so vast that you cannot visit it in just 3 weeks.
I only regretted that the month of September is the month of major public works (before the arrival of severe cold weather, this is understandable). But the crossing of innumerable building sites, deviations and alternating circulations, did not simplify my driving and the timetable designed by "Google" multiplied ... almost everywhere in my route. In addition, we cannot say that there are many road signs in Quebec....And the municipalities that we cross are not always indicated at the entrance to the agglomeration. Too bad, because our hesitations must disturb the inhabitants.
I would add that the use of a GPS is essential to orient yourself in the city....
Montreal is a very noisy city, overcrowded and very disturbed by gigantic works which cause multiple diversions not really indicated correctly... A nightmarish city for me!

Very good organization!
(Translated by Google) Our advisor Joannie knew how to understand and adapt to our needs. The organization was almost perfect and Quebec is a magnificent region!
Very nice trip
(Translated by Google) I could sum up the trip by writing ""Quebec wins you over""and that's really the case.... Whether it's Saguenay, Pierced or the different parks have feasted.... When at the reception Quebecers, only positive...????????????????????

Excellent tour that allows you to discover the diversity of the region
(Translated by Google) Newcomers to Canada, this tour allowed us to discover the region around us with different landscapes and accommodation each time. The tour is also very focused on nature and this is, for us, its strong point! The "economy" version was very comfortable and offered us typical accommodation without a classic hotel, it was Perfect!
TOUR GASPESIE 3 WEEKS
(Translated by Google) Recommended tour with Emilie as advisor
Change of scenery and complete happiness!!! ????
(Translated by Google) An extraordinary and unforgettable first trip to Canada! We are delighted with our three-week stay and do not regret our choice of Gaspesie in any way! The landscapes are breathtaking, we thought we were at the end of the world!
Thank you to our advisor Émilie Boivin for guiding us throughout the preparation of this trip, whether it was for the choice of destinations, accommodation, activities... Everything was magical!
Outfitter accommodation is not to be missed. Our two stays at the Seigneurie du Triton and the Valga outfitter were rich in encounters and exchanges... Nothing better to get to know Quebecers and immerse yourself in their values and lifestyles! The environment guarantees a complete change of scenery and absolute serenity!
Thanks again for everything ! We return to France with memories in our heads and stars in our eyes!! ?????????????

Unique adventure!!
(Translated by Google) We discovered Authentik a bit by chance on the internet, and made a request, the quick responses and the follow-up immediately reassured us.
The proposed trip has been modified according to our wishes and well advised.
The follow-up fact of having a single adviser who takes care of your file for the follow-up was very efficient and pleasant.
On site everything was well organized according to the roadbook.
We really loved this trip, only downside, too short ;-)
We will not hesitate to contact the team again for a future trip.

Unforgettable family road trip in Quebec
(Translated by Google) We did an amazing 3 week road trip in Quebec, from Montreal to Gaspésie via Lac St Jean, the Saguenay Fjord and ending in Quebec City. On the program, seaplane tour in La Tuque, kayaking with the whales in Tadoussac, crossing the St. Lawrence, lobster tasting, canoeing on the Bonaventure River, and so on. During the trip, we stayed in quality B&Bs and inns (apart from the Le Caribou motel near Gaspé, which disappointed us because of its lack of comfort). We particularly enjoyed our 2 stays at an Outfitter (Club Odanak in La Tuque and Domaine Valga in St Gabriel de Rimouski), always on the edge of a lake and during which we could do water activities (canoe, kayak, pedal boat, Paddle ). We come back from this trip with wonderful memories in our heads. We miss the landscapes as well as the kindness of Quebecers already!! Thanks to Tiffany Grégoire for the collaboration and the organization of this trip. We highly recommend Authentik Canada! :) The Rihet family [...]
