The Essence of Quebec
Gaspesie tour 7 aug - 27 aug 2019
Very well organized tour, no surprises. Good balance between travel-days and time for visiting / hiking and other activities. Total driven km = 3477, which is very reasonable for a 3 weeks roundtrip. The roadbook and downloaded Guide were well made, clear and easy to use. The pre-programmed GPS was most helpfull to get to destinations.
Suggest you add some general info on the National Parks system: costs and practical details - in promotion an anual fee is announced, equivalent to 9 or 10 access-days to the parks - reduces queing. Is that open to tourists? I've asked but did not get straight answers.
Well done, thanks and Best Regards,
Jef Van Schuerbeek.

Quebec road trip
We were very happy with our road trip. Marie-Eve was very responsive to any questions and requests for changes to the trip beforehand, but also to questions we had during the trip.
We would probably have preferred to do the trip the other way around, doing Quebec city after starting in Montreal, before doing all the parks and (small) towns. But only to spend as long as possible in the parks instead of cities before heading home.
Gaspésie NP was our favourite park, with Bic being a good second along with the Mishuaga fossil park. Percé was a surprisingly bustling town and we loved the Geopark with the multimedia museum.
Highlights have to be the wildlife: we saw at least 10 different whales on our zodiac excursion in Les Bergeronnes, including 1 that swam right up next to our boat. Our guide said we had had a brilliant viewing of these magnificant animals, that we were very lucky.
We were also fortunate to see black bears on an observation outing in Tadoussac, including a mum with 2 young cubs.
The stop at Nemiskau outfitter was a very pleasant surprise. We didn't know what to expect, being in the middle of nowhere for 2 days, but it ended up being one of our favourite stops.
I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who likes road trip holidays, seeing plenty of places and parks, but keeping a good pace and never spending too much time in the same spot.

A great accompaniment!
(Translated by Google) Authentik Canada successfully supported my travel project and met my requests. Communication was very easy and always responsive.
Our stay went very, very well: the reservations were always OK, and during the strikes, solutions were offered to us. In short, top-notch support!
Only minor downside: for one or two proposed activities, some elements were closed for various reasons, which is a shame because these elements often made the activity attractive.

Unforgettable trip and quality services
(Translated by Google) We are very satisfied with Authentik Canada's services. The hotels were pleasant and well located. We particularly liked the Seigneurie du Triton, the Domaine Valga and the Gîte aux Orchidées. The Riotel de Bonaventure was a bit below par as the room was really tiny and the breakfast very average. We also really enjoyed the activities booked in advance: seaplane in Mauricie, zodiac to see the whales and exciting guided tour of Quebec City. We would have preferred to return to France from Quebec City and not from Montreal to be able to spend a few more hours there, but perhaps that would have been more expensive. Thanks to Andréanne for the information during the trip concerning the ferry strike. This trip left a mark on the whole family, the Quebecois are very welcoming, the landscapes magnificent and the activities very varied.

Unforgettable road trip in Quebec
(Translated by Google) We spent a little over 3 weeks in Quebec and it was perfect. Lots of good memories no matter which region we visited. Thank you for everything.
Authentic Quebec
(Translated by Google) A family experience where everyone was able to discover beautiful landscapes, a different culture, and always warm Quebecois hospitality.
Two weeks is the minimum duration; three weeks would have allowed us to take our time more.
Road trip to Quebec for 2 in August
(Translated by Google) We loved the flexibility of customizing the road trip to fit our needs, as well as the availability, professionalism, and advice of the person dedicated to organizing it. Throughout our 20-day road trip (Montreal - Mauricie - Saguenay - Gaspésie - Quebec City - Montreal) we loved discovering the natural spaces and especially the stay at the Seigneurie du Triton. The "bear safari" allowed us to discover these animals in their natural habitat, the seaplane flight over the lakes was also a great experience. In Gaspésie, you absolutely must eat lobster, a super affordable delicacy!!! The organization with the stopover accommodations was very well done, no worries during the entire road trip. A slightly negative point, we underestimated the distances, hence a lot of kilometers, little time at each stop, especially since you have to deal with Canadian schedules where restaurants, shops, and tourist sites close early.

Excellent stay and discovery of Quebec: excellent conditions
(Translated by Google) Excellent stay, choice of accommodation well chosen, just a small reflection on the rooms when they are upstairs without a freight elevator or lift and the travelers are 68 years old and over with heavy luggage, maybe specify ground floor accommodation. But that's a detail. The stay was unforgettable, thank you.
A 3-week trip made of discoveries and good times
(Translated by Google) We were very satisfied with the trip. The distances were well balanced and we didn't end up having to travel too many long distances. For information, we covered almost 4000 kms.
Discovering Mauricie and Gaspésie is a magnificent experience: the landscapes are sublime and the chosen period ("Indian Summer") optimal. Quebec is an endearing country, with a long history that has forged the character of its inhabitants. The people are friendly, smiling, attentive and considerate. We had some lovely encounters and long discussions with natives (I'm thinking in particular of that hour-long exchange on a beach with two retired women and that improbable meeting at a bend in the road with hunters who had just killed 4 Moose).
The weather was on our side and apart from one rainy day, we had ideal weather.
As for accommodation, we had a wide range of hotel types: from very simple (even modest and old-fashioned) to the most modern and pleasant (I'm thinking in particular of the Manoir Victoria in Quebec City). However, the establishments were always very clean.
We did not have to test Authentik Canada's assistance, so I cannot give an opinion.
So, to conclude, a beautiful trip.

Very beautiful experience, very beautiful trip
(Translated by Google) We toured the Gaspé Peninsula over three weeks. The stages were very well organized, we didn't feel rushed or like we missed anything. This region is magnificent! As nature and hiking lovers, we are delighted!
Accommodations to review. If I had to do it again, I would choose myself.
(Translated by Google) The chosen rooms have almost always been low-end. When we negotiated with the hotels, we always got better quality rooms without spending a dime except at one hotel. I think there could be a choice possibility. It should be EMPHASIZED heavily for future travelers that in Quebec everything is paid. Visiting a waterfall costs money, seeing a lighthouse costs money, so almost a minimum budget of 10 Canadian dollars per person and per visit, which represents a significant budget over 20 days, not counting the systematic 15 percent tips. Discoveries and beautiful encounters in every bay.
(Translated by Google) Wise choice of accommodations based on requirements. The advice provided was important for good time management and discoveries.
The lodgings were particularly well selected.
Practical website and efficient tracking of our trip
(Translated by Google) The AUTHENTIK CANADA website for customizing our trip is practical. We were very well supported by Alyssa in creating it. The trip went very well and the small inconveniences encountered were quickly resolved by the agency. Thanks again for your professionalism.
unforgettable experience with very good organization!
(Translated by Google) The landscapes, in this season, are magnificent, the parks very well maintained and well marked,
Special mentions to Domaine Valga for its warm and simple welcome, Pourvoirie Némiskau for its domain and the availability of the staff, and finally the Saint-Mathieu inn for its setting and its gastronomic meal.
A very well designed roadbook and very useful throughout the journey. Very varied choices in the selection of options.
The stages are well distributed throughout the entire trip. However, beware of travel times, considering the many roadworks planned for the summer that can lengthen durations (we almost missed the ferry at Godbout).
A very responsive team. Susyane communicated well with us before and during the stay when we needed it.
Disappointment with some rental services in relation to the price paid (from average to passable): noisy as it was by the roadside (Lofts Hôtel Gaspésie & Hostellerie Baie Bleue), despite good comfort amenities.

A journey of encounters
(Translated by Google) The trip was great. A special mention to the Valga estate! We loved our journey.
Exceptional trip
(Translated by Google) We had an unforgettable trip to Canada, Quebec, in quality accommodations, with very welcoming hosts, remarkable landscapes, lakes, waterfalls... and the excursions offered by Authentik were wonderful surprises. A big thank you to Susyane for her advice, availability, and flawless organization of our trip.
Trip to Quebec
(Translated by Google) Magnificent trip that will remain etched in our memories.
Everything was perfect and worked well. The choice of accommodations was top-notch!
We can only recommend Authentik Canada.
Trip to Gaspésie
(Translated by Google) Wonderful trip, amazing welcome from the Quebecers, but disappointment with some rental services in relation to the price paid (from average to passable). A blatant lack of information.
Trip that lived up to our expectations
(Translated by Google) Everything went well, with a few incidents without consequences... Breathtaking landscapes in an immensity of forests and waters...
-a + for the very exotic outfitters…
- a little regret for our stop in Percé, perhaps too short and an unattractive town
A big thank you to the Authentik team and to Emilie
Very nice trip to Quebec
(Translated by Google) Despite the significant distances, our different stages were generally well balanced.
The accommodation we chose was really very good, we were spoiled, particularly at Domaine Valga where we were lucky enough to get an entire chalet instead of a room. The place, very remote, is sublime with a sunrise and sunset over the lake. It is better to plan half board. The owners, who work as a family, are very welcoming.
We also enjoyed the whale outing in Les Escoumins where we had the chance to see, for about ten minutes, two whales performing a ballet in front of us.
The Percé site is also particularly magnificent, despite the bad weather which prevented us from taking the cruise to Bonaventure Island.
We were also lucky enough to see a black bear casually crossing in front of our car on the road. Lots of animals, therefore, belugas, seals, whales, dolphins, deer and even a whistler but no moose which shunned us.
The landscapes in this season are magnificent, the autumn colors were there, particularly at Domaine Valga.
On the gastronomy side, many nice surprises also with lobster, fish but also poutines which are available endlessly.
We really appreciated the kindness of the Quebecers and their thirst to show us their region.
In short, it was a very nice trip. The road book was also very practical and very comprehensive.
However, we would have appreciated if Authentictik Canada would have heard from us when we arrived.

Superb trip with very good organization!
(Translated by Google) For a road trip through Mauricie, Haute Mauricie and all of Gaspésie with the parks of Gaspésie, Forillon, Bonaventure Island Park, Bic, Montmorency Falls... plus a great tour of Quebec with a guide costumed and very nice, everything really went well! we just had a timing problem quickly corrected (in 1 day on a Sunday!) by Authentik Canada after a simple email.
Car rental through Authentik Canada was quick, convenient and most affordable / compared to other offers (plus we were upgraded!)

Enriching and emotional stay
(Translated by Google) Perfectly organized trip. Good time in. The Authentik GPS app was a plus.
The accommodation was all very good and the welcome everywhere was very warm, with a big favorite for the inn "la Fjordelaise" in Saguenay and a big minus for the young girl at the reception and service at the "Seigneurie des Monts" in Haute-Gaspésie.
Activities: seaplane flyover... great, whale watching trip in a zodiac... great!
On the other hand, the cruise on the Saguenay Fjord was less spectacular than we expected.
We did many hikes in national parks and enjoyed the fabulous landscapes (Mauricie, Gaspésie, Bic, Saguenay, North Shore).
We were able to observe many animals and had a very powerful moment in the Gaspésie park during an encounter with a family of moose: a large male, a female and a young one.
We are on our fourth trip to Canada and we are still a fan

Fantastic discovery: absolutely grandiose nature
(Translated by Google) The program and the organization were top notch. If I had to do it again, I would only change the following points:
- spend more days at different destinations, even if it means driving more on certain days
- bring sheets to the ready-to-camp: much too expensive and not practical: it is better to buy sleeping bags in Canada
Very nice trip to Quebec
(Translated by Google) Trip very well organized in advance, great responsiveness from the specialist and a particularly well-made and practical site.
Very quick reaction from the agency during the two problems encountered which were not their fault.
Very nice trip and great memories... to do again!
(Translated by Google) We did a 1 month road trip doing Eastern Quebec (tour of Gaspésie). First of all, a big thank you to our advisor Maxim for his availability, his kindness and his professionalism. Thanks to Authentik for its seriousness. Our road trip was designed so that we could take our time and not be on the roads for too long between two destinations. Our car rental agency was Thrifty, everything went well, we got a 7-seater vehicle as planned but of a higher range without any additional cost. We loved this trip. We hope very quickly to repeat the adventure with Authentik and will ask that Maxim be our advisor. THANK YOU [...]
An unforgettable stay in Quebec
(Translated by Google) Everything was perfect, both in terms of the organization before the trip (advice, adjustments, etc.) and during the trip itself. Thanks to Authentik Canada, we were able to take full advantage of our trip and discover magical places for great family moments.
A big thank you to Tanya for accompanying us for this long-standing project! We highly recommend Authentik Canada!

Fabulous tour of Gaspésie
(Translated by Google) We loved the magnificent landscapes, this extraordinary nature in front of which we felt very small, the kindness and availability of the inhabitants, the discoveries all more surprising and stunning than the others. We can't wait to come back

Very good travel agency
(Translated by Google) Trip to Quebec very well organized by Elise, professional and always available. good advice. agency to recommend for a road trip.
Happy with our stay.
3 unforgettable weeks
(Translated by Google) Discovery of Montreal and Quebec: hotels well located near sites of interest
Well-constructed circuit for immersion in nature: outfitters on the edge of wild lakes, kayaking in superb sites (Gaspésie, Bic islands, Anse St Jean)
Great encounters with warm and welcoming Quebecers.
The Gaspésie park offers a lot of hikes, we would have preferred to spend 2 days in Gaspé and only one day in Percé
To deplore the situation of the Hôtel de Québec in the middle of the summer festival, we asked for an upgrade so as not to have a room for the shows.
It would have been wise to offer us permanent access to national and regional parks. (we had to pay one entry per day)

Very nice trip, easy to organize with Authentik Canada
(Translated by Google) We enjoyed every day of this Quebec road trip.
The different landscapes every day, the very warm welcome of Quebecers, the choice of accommodation recommended by Authentik Canada.
We were unlucky with the weather, this month of June was particularly cold, following a heat wave and forest fires which led to the closure of some national parks. Although the weather is an unpredictable factor, you should know that the month of June is the favorite month for very aggressive mosquitoes and small black flies, especially in Mauricie.
We loved alternating between different accommodations, going from a 4-star hotel with spa to a century-old inn or a former presbytery.
All were very good except the Riotel de Percé where we expected a beautiful view of the rock, which was not the case at all, pay attention to the room category!
We were not in the main building of the hotel but in an annex which looked more like a roadside motel and in addition no sheets in the bathroom…an oversight…surprising for a 3 star hotel…
Apart from this bad experience, everything went well.
The zodiac excursion near Tadoussac was great even if no whales given the weather, a little early perhaps to see them in June
The lobster meal at the Maison du Pêcheur in Percé, good but very touristy so noisy, there is a way to eat well elsewhere if you prefer a quiet place (example: the Mathilde house)
In Quebec, the experience at Le Ciel restaurant is to be recommended.
The C3 art de vivre hotel is original and well located, but we were a little disappointed with the breakfast, where the buffet is very basic compared to what we were offered elsewhere.
I usually like to organize my trips alone, but the help of Authentik Canada was invaluable for this road trip in Quebec.
