This unique historical extravaganza tells Quebec’s history through the notable events of the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region.
Discover the lives of the First Nations people on the banks of the great river and their encounters with such famous figures as Jacques Cartier and Champlain. Catch a glimpse of the court of King Francis the 1st and travel through time with canon shots and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham.
From the arrival of the first 21 pioneers, the region’s founders, witness the birth of rural life in
Quebec with its settlers, lumberjacks and celebrities.
Let yourself be carried away by the whirlwind of seasons with scenes of everyday life, New Year’s Eve, the Great Fire as the story continues with a feast, a wedding, a flood and with the grand finale turning towards the future.
On stage, more than one hundred devoted actors bring 1,600 characters to life with breathtaking staging and impressive visual and sound effects (cannon shots, fireworks, waterfalls, live horses, farm animals, rain, snow...)
