Having studied modern languages at university, the desire to travel the world in search of rich and varied cultures only deepened! Furthermore, in my free time, I prepare lists on Google Maps of places I’d like to visit, so I’m always ready for an adventure! My favorite part of traveling is discovering the local cuisine! I also enjoy hiking in national parks to get a bit of excercise in whilst on vacation. To remember these adventures and excursions, I love collecting postcards and stickers (and lots of photos!). Curiosity about other countries and cultures and my passion for organizing trips are the reasons why I joined the Authentik team!

What is my favorite destination in Canada?

My favourite destination is Victoria, BC. It's the perfect place for those who wish to be surrounded by nature, but have the ammenities of a city! The atmosphere is calm and the city isn't overwhelming. Victoria is also a great place to go whale watching!

Avoid fast-food restaurants and opt for eating at local restaurants instead. If you're unsure of where to go, don't hesitate to ask the locals!

What is my favorite season in Canada?

My favourite season is autumn! The leaves changing colour make for spectacular scenery and the slightly colder weather makes staying outside in the sun more tolerable than in the summer. It's also the best time to travel since there are less tourists and it's less expensive.

What souvenir to bring back from your trip here?

I highly recommend filling your suitcase with Canadian products such as maple syrup, maple candies, poutine sauce, and Ruffles All-dressed chips.

A portable charger! Our phones serve not only as a means of communication but also as a GPS, translator, TV, and camera. If you want to avoid having a dead phone at the airport or in an unfamiliar place, I highly recommend bringing a portable charger.

What is my dream trip?

I have yet to explore quite a few of Canada's provinces and territories, but my dream trip would be to take the train to Churchill, Manitoba during the winter to see the polar bears and the northern lights!
