In Wells Gray Park, the sight of salmon leaping in Bailey's Chute is fascinating. The hotels were well located; the level of cleanliness and maintenance is poor compared to the United States (carpets, bathrooms). On Vancouver Island, Butchart Gardens are among the most beautiful we have seen. The car rental suited us perfectly, especially the pick-up and drop-off locations, and the quality of the vehicle. This program was supplemented by 6 activities offered by Authentic Canada (zodiac bear safari, seaplane, cable car, helicopter, Glacier in “buggy”, Historic Village). The weather prevented us from taking advantage of the seaplane. Big disappointment because it was the only flight that allowed you to fly over the glaciers (AC reimbursed immediately and that was appreciated). Small downside regarding the helicopter flight: the initial flight was canceled due to weather, but we were not warned, which greatly disrupted our day since we had organized accordingly. Fortunately, the flight was able to be postponed until the next day. I suggest to AC that they give the customers' phone numbers to the helicopter company so that the company can call us directly the day before or the morning before we leave. We would save a lot of time. Big downside to AC: they did reserve our places at “Historic Village” (Calgary), but when we arrived, the park was closed! Serenity is found in the less crowded, wilder Wells Gray Park, spend time exploring the falls in the park in the morning or late afternoon, the light is superb. Difficult to choose the most beautiful, for our teenagers, Vancouver, Victoria and Lake Louise, for us a mix of all that, I might have avoided the stopover in Whistler because it was too short to do activities arriving from Tofino on same day, we would have done another night in Vancouver instead.
