Then the rental company tells us that it will take his employee at least an hour to bring back the keys of the RV, a joke ok, we wait but that puts us very late for our arrival at the first campsite. During this time he gives us a quick tour of the RV to explain how it works and already tells us that the awning does not work and that two or three other things are broken! The general appearance of the RV seems to have lived normal for a vehicle that displays 232,000 km on the odometer! Then instead of taking advantage of the waiting time to clean our RV, he passes to another family who seemed to have been waiting for a while also without giving us more explanation or telling us that he will make us a commercial offer for example. We report all these problems to Authentik Canada who informs us that we will be able to make complaints once our file is closed, moreover, as we will arrive very late at our first campsite, we have to warn them which costs us a lot of out-of-package.
Once the rental company collects the keys, his employee tries to quickly clean the RV except that we have no more time, we inform him that there is no bedding kit provided and paid more than $100, he searches and we find two sets of bedding which are simply a fitted sheet one sheet no pillow no cover and the fitted sheet does not fit the awesome top bed.
Regarding the return, we have indicated in advance that we will return the RV late compared to the scheduled time and this one allows us to indicate that this will generate an additional cost of $112.5 and $75 to bring us back to the airport (12 min by car and $24 by uber).
Please note that this type of vehicle consumes a lot but it is clearly indicated in the 25l/100km sheet.
