I think it's a tree branch that must have caused the problem, I didn't realize it at the time. In short Canadream took a deposit of 1500 CAD while waiting for the precise cost of the repairs. That's rather stressful... because you have to wait 3 months to get the verdict and get the difference refunded.
But that's the game... and that doesn't take anything away from this unique experience of discovering wildlife as a family :-)
