Excellent experience for nervous 1st time RV renters

We had a wonderful experience renting the 30ft RV that we chose for our Canadian adventure. Communication was excellent throughout. The RV was well stocked, clean and exactly what we had hoped for. Staff at collection and drop off were friendly, thorough and made sure we knew how everything worked before setting off. Would highly recommend and will use again.

Great trip supported by excellent service

Hired a truck camper for 9 nights picking up from Calgary. Staff were helpful and friendly and van was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Had an amazing trip exploring the Rockies, would highly recommend Canadream!!!

Value for money with top customer service

The Fraserway experience was brilliant. Their RV's are top notch and where there is a problem, they deal with it as efficiently as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our RV and it provided all the essentials required.

Beautiful experience in NS

Well equipped, functional RV picked up in Bedford.
Pick up process was a bit slow, as company was understaffed that day, but efficient and comprehensive.
Drop off highly efficient. shuttle was comfortable, timely and we even received a small tour and explanations from the driver.
Communication regarding the shuttle was ok, not optimal- we received a last minute call that the shuttle is delayed one hour, but the office did not notify the driver of the change. He ended up waiting for us at the original time, did not call us and left. When he did not show up at the modified time, I had to arrange him to come at a short notice- which he did. Overall, this caused a two hour delay. no big deal but a communication problem inside their company , that could have been avoided [...]

Fabulous trip

Authentik offered a great price for a Four seasons rental that included unlimited kms. The rental, a C-Medium, was in perfect condition. The rental included convenience kits too and they were great. Plenty of everything we needed. The pickup and drop off services were seamless. We had an amazing holiday in Canada!

Nice RV, everything ok

Could have been 5 stars if pick-up and return point was nearer to airport (now +1h drive one way) and if we did not have to pay 56 CAD for returning only 20min late.
RV was nice and clean though.
BBQ is NOT present, we bought a small charcoal one ourselves.

Wonderful trip

Authentik provided a great service and were always quick to respond to any questions.
Their prices beat those offered by CanaDream direct. Only issue was caused by CanaDream who changed the van type advertised- the van they provided was an upgrade and was a very good van, but because it was longer than the advertised vehicles we had to rebook several pitches as it wouldn’t fit. The perfect trip!

Booking our RV, checking-in and out... it all went super smooth! The staff at Fraser Way in Calgary was very friendly and answered all our questions.

Brilliant trip, and right choice of RV - except for shorties!

Four of us (adults aged between 66 and 76) shared a C25 for 5 weeks, and covered almost 3000kms, taking in Victoria, Nanaimo, Tofino, Campbell River, and Telegraph Cove on Vancouver Island, then the ferry to Prince Rupert from Port Hardy. After that, we stopped at Terrace, Hazleton, McBride, Jasper, and Johnston Canyon (via the Icefield Parkway) to Calgary. Leaving Calgary, we returned to Vancouver via Banff, Lake Louise, Revelstoke, Cache Creek, Whistler, and Tsawwassen. It was a challenging route at times, especially the Icefield Parkway and the drive across to Whistler from Cache Creek) but the motorhome performed well and never let us down. Four drivers (no extra charges for extra drivers was very helpful) shared the driving. A bit spartan and tired-looking inside the RV, and the shortest person in our party (5' 4'' struggled to reach into the top level cupboards, get up the steps, and onto the bed - but a great time was had by all! We did invest in a cheap toaster and cafetiere which raised the standard of our on-board catering. Otherwise, the kitchen package we purchased was sufficient - except for the awful drying cloths/tea towels which never did dry anything properly despite being washed several times, and the much too large non-breakable glasses. Some small plates would have been useful, too. On our trip, the bedding packages were fine for most of us, but one party member was cold at night (he'd taken the precaution of bringing a sleeping bag so didn't suffer too much!). However, if the weather had been any colder, the sleeping bags would not have been adequate, and they were very obviously well used items. Staff at CC were very helpful and efficient, and the pre-departure videos and information we were able to access were excellent, as was the user manual in the RV itself. Excellent RV experience from Fraserway. I am lucky enough to have have campervans on a number of occasions previously and based on my experience I would be very happy to recommend. Whole team very professional and welcoming.

RV Rental with Four Seasons

We rented a C-Large for 16 days and our experience with Four Seasons RV rental was very good:
+ car was in good condition
+ appliances inside car in good condition (minor issues only)
+ smooth car pick up and drop off
+ convenient shuttle services at drop off location /> + affordable price
- although we reserved GPS, it was not provided and we learned this only during car pickup. We got our money back but still had to spend some extra time on our end on how to resolve the navigation in a different manner. [...]

We couldn't have been happier with Four Seasons -- they went out of their way to think of things that would make us feel at home in the camper... down to poached egg dishes in the pantry! :)

Amazing Canada

The van setup with Fraserway was perfect for a 2 week trip discovering the West coast. The van was tidy,well equipped and very reliable. Make sure you allow plenty of time at pickup though. When we arrived is was very busy and the with the necessary paperwork, demo and handover we ended up having to rush to catch our Ferry. Drop off was a piece of cake. The team were happy to take unused supplies and then put us straight on a transfer to our hotel.

We loved our RV

We had booked a smaller van, but we were upgraded to a larger RV. It was a bit hectic getting out of Vancouver, but once out of the city, it became more relaxing. The pick up and drop off points were trouble free.

Our experience with Authentik Canada was easy, professional and overall a very positive one. The inclusions in our RV hire were very clear and excellent value. The website was also v easy to navigate which helped with making our choice of van. Email correspondence also prompt and helpful.
I would not hesitate to recommend hiring through Authentik again and would definitely hire through them if returning to Canada one day. [...]

J’ai réservé un MHC RV (24 pieds) et je ne voulais pas un VR plus grand. J’ai téléphoné Authentik avant de réserver pour m’assurer que la grandeur du VR ne serait pas supérieure à 24 pieds et on m’a assuré que j’aurais un 24 pieds maximum. Lors de la prise en charge avec Canadream, on m’a «upgradé » pour un 29,5 pieds, il n’y avait pas d’autre choix pour moi et on m’a dit qu’ils pouvaient le faire parce que s’était inscrit dans mon contrat. Pourquoi lors de mon appel, on ne m’a pas informé que s’était possible? J’aurais aimé en être informé avant d’arriver sur place. Nos réservations de camping et de traversier étaient faites en fonction d’un 24 pieds… [...]

The only way to see Canada

Alyssa our wonderful agent found us this RV and gave some recommendations to visit. Always very helpful and prompt. The camper was excellent, well stocked with everything we needed. Handover was excellent and well explained. We discovered Provincial campgrounds in beautiful places were our favourite and well priced. Even in caravan parks we didn’t need power. The camper gave us so much flexibility as to where we could go and stay, and we always had a comfy place to make lunch or rest. This is the best way to visit and enjoy Canada. [...]

Best way to see Canada is Fraserway

We did a lot of research before deciding to choose a Fraserway and Authentik Canada to book out Canada vacation. The service we received by Authentik in the lead up and the personalised agent contact was both needed and given freely and very professionally. The actual Fraserway experience was equally as great, and it started with the handover of a new Motorhomes RV for our trip. Everything was well appointed and perfect for a proper look at the real Canada. We even decided to go further afield and go to Yellowstone National park as well, and this was done very easily in this C24 Large RV. My advice is to do your research and ensure you know where you wish to go to, and how many kilometres you will need to cater for to do that trip. Also, ensure that if you compare motorhome companies, check that the company supplies all needed as part of the rental, and not an extra that is charged like some we researched. [...]

Great rv but noisy

We chose this for space for an 11 day tour for 3 adults. The space was great, but the noise when driving a long distance from the bumpy/patched roads in the back was awful.
It would be great for parking up, near to pick up, and staying in one place!

39 night Travel in a C-Medium RV

From making our booking with Authentic to the pickup and checking back in our RV back in with Fraserway it was hassle free. Clear instructions from our person who did the initial walk around with the vehicle at pickup made it easy to understand and able to answer any concerns we had. We travelled just under 6,000 km with no troubles at all. We travelled Calgary to Banff, Lake Louise, Abraham Lake, Jasper, Radium Springs, then across the boarder to do the Yellowstone National Park. The RV was comfortable and only had low K/M on it and was well maintained, which made for a trouble free experience. We a definitely looking to return to Canada and will look to use Authentic to assist us. Highly recommend there services to anyone who is looking to trip around Canada [...]

RV great - CanaDream not so great

Myself & my partner had the CanaDream Saver 2. The RV was easy to use, easy to drive, good on fuel & spacious enough for 2 people for a week.
I initially thought it was good value for money but when you add on all the necessary extras such as towels, bedding, cutlery which you clearly need, it’s not as good value.
When we were checking in for our RV, the staff member was awful. She kept getting things about our booking wrong & had to be corrected a few times by us. For example, she gave us the sheet stating the RV was petrol, when in fact was diesel. It was only because my partner picked up on this.
We did have to contact CanaDream on our holiday to state the waste pipe was split in several places, which meant obviously the waste was spilling all over the place.
The replies we got were very generic & suggested we should pay to get a new pipe, despite saying we’d rather they provide us another one when we were near their base location.
Even though they were dealing with a problem, their emails would start with ‘we hope you’re enjoying and relaxing on your holidays’ a bit insensitive to the situation.
In addition, my partner accidentally put petrol in the diesel tank. Fully understand this is our fault, however again, CanaDream were very insensitive to this obviously causing stress and frustration, and insensitively emailed me to say they were charging 5,500 CAD to my credit card but hope I’m having a lovely holiday.

In summary, the RV was pretty good but I think you could find a better company and a better RV with value for money. [...]

Great Trip - would book again.

We had a great experience booking our trip through Authentik Canada (10/10).

However, with Cruise Canada, everything went smoothly with the RV; it ran well, it was a good size and we had no mechanical issues. However, there is no where to park your vehicle when you leave for your trip and the bedding & towels are not worth the investment. I would give 5 stars if we were able to leave our vehicle somewhere safe while we are on our trip - otherwise it is very difficult to get your stuff to the RV place and it is very inconvenient. Also the pick-up and drop-off windows are not ideal and I wish we could just book and appointment ahead of time. [...]

Not sure the relationship between Authentik and Four Seasons and Fraswerways but van was v.good and the staff a pleasure to work with. Would definitely do something similar in the future

Helpful friendly staff at the Cruise Canada rental station at Vancouver Delta. Happy with our C25 RV, the plastic covered bed mattress while we understand benefits a multi-customer use vehicle, is not comfortable for the user

Recommended, great vehicles

We hired a C20, having never hired an RV before. It was the perfect size and spec for 2 people. Beautifully clean and well kitted out.
Pick up and drop off both very smooth and didn’t take long, pretty thorough demo on how to use things. We thought the awning was broken half way through the trip so rang the support line, this was a positive experience too as they have support people in a lot of locations. (We didn’t end up needing to call someone out).
Overall very positive first RV experience.
We’d have loved it even more if drop off could be arranged to more hotels/locations. And the Calgary depot is a bit out of the way, so a bit tricky to get yourself there and back again, I think there was a shuttle service available but don’t think we were aware of this beforehand, there’s obviously a lot of info to read and we may have missed it.
It is costly booking a one way service rather than picking up and returning to the same location, and anything added eg bedding/kitchen supplies racks up the cost too. Plus you have to know roughly the mileage you’ll be covering or you get charged for extra kms.
100% recommend Fraserway though for quality of vehicle and on-road support. [...]
