RV rental
(Translated by Google) We spoke with Susyane who was very responsive to our questions and greatly helped us ahead of our trip! The motorhome pickup was perfect, and we had an excellent stay!
(Translated by Google) We rented a Small C20 RV (14 nights) for our honeymoon in September 2024, for a journey starting from Vancouver and ending in Calgary (stops: Victoria, Ucluelet, Qualicum Beach, Whistler, Clearwater, Revelstoke instead of Jasper closed due to fires, and Banff). We are overall very satisfied with the comfort of this vehicle, and we already know we will renew the experience in the coming years, perhaps on the East Coast for a change.
The shuttle system at departure and arrival is very convenient and avoids extra taxi costs given the distance between the Fraserway agency and the city center (especially in Vancouver). Admittedly, we had to wait in the cold for the shuttle, which was 45 minutes late, but we are fully aware that the driver was simply enduring Vancouver's morning traffic. However, upon arrival at the agency to pick up the vehicle, there were many of us, and we had to wait about 1 hour to reach the counter, then an additional 30-minute wait for an agency member to demonstrate the vehicle. Fortunately, I had anticipated a safety buffer because we had the ferry on the same day to Vancouver Island.
Our (only) unpleasant surprise after picking up the vehicle was realizing that the "grey tank" was not properly emptied by the previous renter. After using the sink to wash our hands, the water wouldn't drain anymore (due to a full tank), and we couldn't empty it in the supermarket parking lot between the agency in Delta and the ferry in Vancouver. We had to drive to the next campsite (in Victoria) with a bit of water in the sink, and with the vehicle's movement, the water splashed onto the floor, sacrificing clean towels on the first day to wipe it up... The Fraserway agency had warned us that sometimes the grey tank sensor is faulty; for example, it shows full when it's empty or vice versa (and we confirmed this during the next 14 days as often right after emptying at campsites, the grey tank stayed stuck at 2/3...), however, we would have appreciated it if the agency thoroughly checked the tank's status before renting out the vehicle instead of relying solely on the known faulty sensor (even if it means the agency should do a drain when the vehicle returns, to ensure all tanks are empty before re-renting the vehicle).
The kitchen kit is complete; the only criticism I could make is regarding the sponge (clearly a toy sponge with a lifespan of 1 to 2 days max, we had to buy more to properly wash our dishes + the 2 provided dish towels spread water around instead of drying, so we also bought a real dish towel).
The bedding kit is very decent as well; we even had a change of sheets for the 2 weeks. For 2 people, we had two (large) individual duvets which were more than sufficient.
Regarding the bath towels (4 large towels + 2 hand towels): very good, but it was a nightmare to properly dry the towels after showering, we hung them inside the RV (blocking the ends in the overhead cabinets above the table), but they dried poorly and smelled bad by the second day... Not practical as they took up space (hitting your head on towels when at the back of the RV), and we had to reposition the towels every time we needed something from the cabinets. Impossible to dry them outside because, in September, even without rain, it was not enough. We ended up buying microfiber towels that dried much faster and took up less space.
We also opted for the heater, and it was not a luxury as waking up at the end of September in the Rockies is chilly! However, the heater only worked for 2 days even though we only turned it on during breakfast, so we spent the last 3-4 wake-ups quite cold.
In general, regarding driving a vehicle of this size in Canada: I was initially very apprehensive as I had never driven this type of vehicle, especially abroad. In the end, it was a pleasure, and I felt safer than when driving my small car on the highway in France. Indeed, in Canada, I found drivers to be much more civilized and respectful of the rules of the road, and the roads are truly designed for all types of vehicles.
The mileage estimate when booking through Authentik Canada was well done; we opted for a total package of 2500 km and drove about 2300 km, thus avoiding excess kilometer charges.
Regarding vehicle pricing: indeed, it's a (big) budget. By booking about 6 months in advance, we paid 3300€ for a 14-night rental with a 2500 km package, a deductible insurance of $750, bedding/kitchen kits, and the heater. In addition, we had to add 500€ for fuel and the price for camping nights (approximately 600€). So, it costs around 300€/night all-inclusive, during a period still considered high season (at least according to some campsites).
After quick comparison on the Fraserway website for pricing without an intermediary, I must acknowledge that the price difference is very minimal compared to what we paid via Authentik Canada, which, beyond the booking, offers support and availability from our designated advisor, who quickly answered our every question (thank you Adeline!).
Despite this significant budget (at least for us), we do not regret it as we had incredible moments on the road, and to date, it is the most beautiful trip of our lives.
See you soon in Canada!

(Translated by Google) Unforgettable stay in the Rockies, no issues with the RV. Very professional contacts with FraserWay. Highly recommended.
(Translated by Google) Motorhome at the top, practical and very good. The company is super organized and everything went wonderfully.
Gaspésie, 4x4 vehicle with cell, beautiful experience, Sept 24
(Translated by Google) Friendly welcome from Philippe, very accommodating, good communication. Warehouse not far from the airport. Very comfortable vehicle especially for driving, interesting because it can run on LPG (more advantageous) or petrol, practical vehicle, clean, operational, functional, maneuverable. You still have to manage the waste bins, of course, and sometimes they can fill up quickly (advised to be careful). The weather was fine, but if it was cold, plan for a quilt or blanket as the sleeping bags are light. [...]
(Translated by Google) good team, very decent vehicle

(Translated by Google) The choice of accommodations, the quality of the trip organization, the relevance of the advice given, and the follow-up of the trip, everything was perfect. The RV was, however, aging but fully operational. The rental service was good without being perfect. The vehicle could have been better equipped (a valve would have been welcome, fitted sheets to the size of the bed too...) despite that everything went well (during the handover, during the trip, and upon returning the RV at the end of the trip). Worry-free experience, Efficient
(Translated by Google) Value for money is very good! Canadream representatives are very professional (they are experienced!) The vehicle is spotless, everything works in the cabin, it’s easy and hassle-free. We understand why Canadream is extremely precise about the initial inventory: Quality is there. TCA (Ford F350 Pick up + cabin) is perfect for 2 people (kitchen, bathroom, heating, sleeping, dining area, ...). Ps: Budget for fuel, on TCA 14 liters/100 km when driving smoothly. Great experience. (Translated by Google) We are very happy to have booked through you, everything went as planned, we were very well received at Four Seasons and the appointment was great.

(Translated by Google) Everything was perfect, no complaints. I highly recommend Fraserway, the vehicles are new, very comfortable, and well-equipped. The reception and logistics are also perfect.
(Translated by Google) A nice discovery... which has a certain price all the same, but the experience was beautiful and memorable!
(Translated by Google) The service at Authentik to guide us in selecting the vehicle for our trip to the Yukon was truly professional. Véronique was available to answer our questions and to give us all the necessary information. All documents were clear and no surprises awaited us when taking possession of the vehicle. I would recommend without hesitation!

(Translated by Google) Good welcome to Mirabel/Montreal. However, we seemed picky during our departure inspection... A technical problem en route was very well handled and resolved quickly (but it disrupted our schedule) - no compensation.
Very good experience
(Translated by Google) Everything went very well, a great experience with the new vehicle which is well equipped. I got the largest model which actually drives very well.

(Translated by Google) Friendly, attentive staff and transparent operations.
Well-equipped and in good condition motorhome.
We had a very enjoyable stay.
(Translated by Google) We are very satisfied with Authentik Canada's responsiveness in our exchanges but much less with the procedure for contacting the rental company Fraserway to arrange the vehicle pickup.
Vehicle suitable and true to the description
(Translated by Google) We had perfect service from Canadream. The vehicle handover is very well explained both during online registration and on site. The staff is very friendly. A small paper guide is provided for future reference along with a number for 24/7 assistance (which we didn't use). The return process is also very easy. Their organization is well established. The RV met all our expectations.
Plan to go and return by car as there is no public transport or shuttle service to get there.

(Translated by Google) 3 weeks in the Dodge Gran Caravan truck and it is the ideal model, both comfortable and versatile.
It is very well equipped and Jennifer is great whether in reception or follow-up.
She had been recommended to us by friends and in turn we will recommend North Campervans and hope to return!
Vehicle fully adapted to our mobility choice for
(Translated by Google) The van is discreet (unlike the camper van) and allows great freedom in our choices (such as sleeping location). Ideal for a couple without children or pets.
(Translated by Google) Journey in the Canadian West with over 2600 km traveled. Beautiful adventure with a very clean and orderly RV. The Canadream system is finely tuned and everything is simple. Congratulations, you have contributed to the success of our trip.

Easy handling, very good contact with the renter
(Translated by Google) Our trip went very well, the vehicle met our expectations. The vehicle renter gave us good advice on restaurants, places to visit,... He was available at all times. We had a minor technical issue which he quickly resolved. Very good experience, I recommend.
(Translated by Google) Getting started was a bit quick, a written manual would have been welcome for novices like us.
But everything went well, VR is a good solution for exploring Quebec. The wastewater hose is a bit short depending on the campground connections.
We will repeat this experience.
(Translated by Google) We were very well received and all the rental formalities, both on departure and return, were done efficiently and quickly. The handling, advice, and help to book a campsite for the first night were very useful to us. The Dodge Caravan was in excellent condition, with practical, efficient, and well thought-out arrangements, and a very comfortable mattress. Its low fuel consumption and small size are assets for those who, like us, can be content with lesser comfort compared to a large motorhome. An excellent compromise between a tent (too spartan) and a motorhome that is too bulky and energy-consuming. [...]
(Translated by Google) The van from North Campervans is super convenient, spacious, and easy to use daily... We traveled across Alberta and Saskatchewan with this vehicle without any difficulty. The interaction with North Campervans is easy as well. I highly recommend it.
(Translated by Google) Efficient reception and return, clear explanations. VR quite spacious and bright, rather easy to handle.
(Translated by Google) personable and available staff
(Translated by Google) We enjoyed camping in an RV in Quebec with Canadream. The RV model was the right one. The explanations about the RV rental were clear. I was able to refuel upon returning near the center. However, we paid for a service to receive an explanation on the RV's operation, but it was too quick and not detailed enough. Also, some sheets were missing which we didn't notice at the start of the rental. There was a broom and a dustpan to clean the RV. This was minimal; we thought a small brush was missing. We had taken a child seat, but the model was inconvenient to install on the bench. The RV return times are too early and any flexibility is extremely expensive. The Canadream center is far from Montreal (1 hour from Montreal). So, you need to budget 70 dollars for a taxi one way and the same for the return to Montreal. But overall, we were satisfied with the RV. [...]
(Translated by Google) Nothing to say about both Authentik and Fraserway.
No problem. Ideally equipped, clean, comfortable campsite.
Availability and efficiency of our Authentik correspondent and the rental company!
(Translated by Google) Authentik Canada has been very responsive and understanding. The rental company (Fraserway) was excellent on all levels. We recommend!
(Translated by Google) Be careful, the drop-off at the end can take a long time if there are many people.
